I have had the pleasure to stay at The Hotel Ryland several times over the last 10 years and it is my preferred place to stay when I visit Red River. The staff/ownership are the nicest people and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Rooms were clean and all amenities were available. You can never go wrong staying at The Hotel Ryland.,

Our first trip to Red River was so much fun and we’re so glad we chose Hotel Ryland for our stay during Christmas week! Mandy and Jason were so welcoming—they even made a fire and had s’mores for the girls on our first night.

The rooms were cozy and cute, and they gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Bearly Awake, a charming coffee and breakfast shop, is right across the street. Texas Red’s and The Dairy Bar are also nearby—everything is within walking distance and absolutely adorable.

The town itself was beautiful, all lit up for Christmas with so many fun activities. We loved every moment!

We stayed at Hotel Ryland for eight nights. It was a great experience. Our upstairs room (near the front porch) was clean,a comfy bed, and we had all we needed!
Also appreciated the friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness of the innkeepers. The front porches overlooking Red River main street downtown are nice to sit out. There is also a side yard with picnic tables and a big fire pit to enjoy the nice weather.

Our stay was flawless! Mandy and her husband were perfect hosts ! They took perfect care of us during our stay . We didn’t need or want anything while we were there . Super clean rooms . Beds are very comfortable! Our stay was a total success! We can’t wait to book again .

Loved our stay here.  The owners are amazing and very friendly.  We stayed in the honeymoon suite, and it was great!   Having the front porch where we could sit out and people watch was great. It is a great location! We were within a block of the coffee shop, food and two bars.

Wonderful little hotel - very friendly owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They are pet friendly.  We had everything we needed coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, and microwave. Will definitely stay here again.

We really loved the help and friendliness that Mandy provided both before and during our stay. It set the tone for having a relaxing place to launch all our fun NM excursions and come back to. The front balcony was a natural gathering place for friends, and we met some really cool TX fellow travelers there as well.

Great small hotel in the center of town, within walking distance to all the town shops and restaurants.

The room was cozy and very clean.

The couple that owns the property were fantastic, very engaging and super knowledgeable about the local area and activities to do and see.

The owners themselves went out of their way at check-in, making sure the room was just right. The room was awesome. The environment in the room was relaxing. And the price was excellent.

This is my second time staying at the Hotel Ryland and it was very good, my friends and I stayed in the Summit view penthouse and it was big but cozy the website pictures are accurate, the place was clean and the beds were comfortable, we really enjoyed being in town close to everything but the hotel is quite and peaceful.

Great Red River Classic Hotel

Great small hotel with fantastic and engaging owners.

Clean and Comfortable

We were taking part of the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway and ended up in Red River. There are many places to stay in Red River. A lot of them with a ski theme. We chose the Ryland since it was reasonably priced and nicely located.

The Hotel (which isn't really a hotel in the old time sense like we thought, but rather a motel with a few rooms on the second story) is a pleasant older property that's been well maintained. We upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite which cost a bit more, but with lots more space. On arriving, we were met by a nice young man who had been there two months. He was most accommodating.

The room was pleasant. Clean and well maintained. It had a living area with a couch, easy table, a high eating table and stools. Off to one side were a large refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee bar (though they didn't have any decaf coffee). Down a short hallway is the bedroom with a queen bed, dresser and bed table (very soft bed).

There are lots of windows letting a lot of light during the day.

This is a pleasant little property. And we're glad we stayed here.

Nice Room; Friendly Help

I was greeted by an older gentleman and young man as soon as I parked my car. The young man even offered to carry my bag up to the second story room. I assume that it is a family operated hotel. The room was just as pictured with snow white quality linens on the bed. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in the activity on main street and the breath taking mountain view beyond. Parking my larger suv was a little tight but not a down side at all. I love my coffee in the morning and I do think a little more attention to those courtesy offerings would have impressed me. All in all a nice safe friendly place to stay.

Quaint Overnight Stay

This was our first visit to Red River, and Hotel Ryland did not disappoint. We were welcomed immediately and they accepted our fur baby as one of their own. We have already told family and friends to book there the next time they come this way! There’s a cute yard right outside where the kids and dogs can play. I just can’t say enough about this place and we will absolutely be back!

Loved Hotel Ryland

Unplanned stay in Red River led us to not finding any places with a room available, Hotel Ryland however had one room left. Checked in 10mins after booking! Rooms are comfortable and decorative. Happened to see some deer after hours while using the bbq grills the hotel offers, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend.
