Looking at previous reviews, the motel has made a lot of progress. Pest control seems to have considerably improved an old bug problem that previous tenants had claimed was out of control. And while it could use more updating and repairs, the owner was very honest, polite and considerate. Great TV service with hundreds of channels, Wi-Fi was included but slow at times. Was given a good deal on an extended stay. Overall, I see great potential in this motel's future. The owner is always listening to feedback and tackling the motel's problems.

The room was small but perfectly clean. The management were very helpful and went over and above the call of duty in helping us out. The constant road noise was surprisingly muted in the room and even the train noises were bearable considering how close the train line is to the motel. The bed was comfy. The aircon worked brilliantly. The wifi also had a strong signal and good bandwidth.

I checked into my room at 11:48, and was out by 12:20 due to the pictures I posted earlier, the guy up front was nice I get to my room and 1sr red flag my door was already open, and it wouldn't even shut al the way unless, you were up against it pushing it and doing the chain lock at the same time, me and my sister in law was setting on the bed, I glance over from seeing movement and it was a huge cockroaches and I said we aren't staying here as i get up to get are things, I look over to the wall with 2 big ones next to us, and go to get my stuff and they were on the desk, they were everywhere, (there was no signs of them when we went in) I remebered seeing the non refundable sign on the wall in the office but I wasn't leaving without my money, they guy did give me my money back, and said he would call the big guy tomorrow, however I doubt that, just beware guys.

Life lesson learned here -- ask to see (and smell) the room before you pay somewhere where a "no refunds under any circumstances" sign graces the front desk. 

We pulled in late on a road trip and were assigned a room that smelled worse then a truck stop men's restroom - straight up urinal stench.  It was horrific and dirty.  The sink did not drain AT ALL.  From the layers of caked-on filth around the baseboards and table legs, I question that this room had been cleaned in a year.  

The thought of sleeping, or allowing my children to sleep, in this disgusting hole was unthinkable.  Within 15 minutes, we were packed back into the car and heading in the direction of the Holiday Inn where I then had to shower before bed.  

When returning the key and explaining that this was the most disgusting hovel I have ever been in, no mention of a refund or even an apology for the state of the room.  The proprietor should be ashamed of himself and his hotel.

I am horrified that this place has 4 stars and can sucker some other unsuspecting family into stopping and assuming the $60 rate is a good deal.

Absolutley disgusting!!!

Easy to get to.  Between busy highway and railroad route.  Price is not reflective of quality.  Should have been at least $25 less.  Will not return because of that.  Otherwise it was acceptable for a motel in a last ditch effort.  I made reservations two months in advance.  Big mistake!

Highway robbery

Room was very filthy, parking lot was so small. Parking was tight and I was afraid someone will hit my car. Wifi connection was bad. The motel was super close to the highway that I could hear everything on the road. It was a restless night and a very bad experience. I would not recommend to anyone.
