The location is great- close to Commercial but on a quiet street. The decor is on point. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is awesome.

I was there for the town’s carnival. The inn is close to the center, yet still quiet from all the celebrations. Breakfast was plenty. The receptionist (Steve) was hospitable and informative.

PTown is always fun. Went there for the Carnival and 1st time at the inn. It is still walking distance to the center, yet quiet.
Steve was very helpful and hospitable.
Breakfast was decent.
There are lots of outdoor spaces to hang around with friends
Best yet, free parking!

The location is excellent and the property is beautiful! We missed the part of the website where it said the bathroom was down the hall, so that wasn't ideal for $600/night. We had a nice weekend and the staff was very helpful.

Like everything. That’s why we keep going back!

We were extremely happy at the end. The people who run the Inn are friendly and helpful, providing wonderful breakfast and answering any questions One might have. We particularly love the location of the Inn – very close to the center of Provincetown, But away from the noise. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spacious enough. We will definitely stay here again!

Our first time but not our last.

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.  We booked late for the season (May, for an August visit), and in deciding between here and another hotel, the free parking set this place well above the others.  It's nestled just behind Bradford Street on a quiet little stretch of road.  Check-in was a breeze (although, I wish I didn't have to carry a key around, but that was only a minor inconvenience).  The room was basically ready upon arrival, and it was spacious, with a super comfortable bed, a nice separate seating area, and a large bathroom.  The room had just enough closet space for us, and plenty of space to move luggage out of the way. They also provided robes, umbrellas, and beach towels and a tote, which were really nice touches.  

Breakfast in the morning was always amazing - well stocked and delicious, with iced coffee to boot. We chose not to have our room serviced, but they were so nice when we asked for new towels.  

The location, cleanliness, free parking, and free breakfast make this place stand out so much more than others in the area.  HIGHLY recommend!

My new favorite PTown Inn

Even though this was our first year to stay at this property we already feel like the people who work here are our family.  They are always so helpful and friendly and every need is fulfilled almost immediately. They are very accommodating and will do whatever it takes to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. The breakfast is delicious and we love the common room where it is served. You can sit in one of the cozy areas they have inside or even in the garden area outside. We enjoyed talking to other guests and sharing ideas of where to eat or what to see. Our room was perfection. It was air conditioned and very clean and we loved that we got fresh towels every day (at other places this is not always true).  The bed and pillows were very comfortable and they have very reliable Wi-Fi for streaming your favorite shows on your own devices. The location is great since it is only a three minute walk to Commercial Street where all the action is. I love that it is near the library because I love to read and anyone can get a library card there.  We also appreciated the convenience of the on-site parking lot.  You can’t go wrong with the Salt House Inn. We will return as often as we can.

Our Home Away From Home

My girlfriend and I stayed at Salt House Inn after spending time in Boston and travelling around Cape Cod. We stayed in 2 places in Boston, down in Hyannis and then here whilst stopping in different towns along the way too and Salt House Inn was by far our favourite placed to have visited. We have travelled a lot and the Inn might actually be a favourite across the board!It is a quaint, clean, beautifully designed inn where attention to detail makes it such a well thought out, comfortable and overall lovely experience. The team were attentive, chatty and so friendly, with a perfect light breakfast every morning in peaceful surroundings, inside or out. It is also a very short walk down the road to the main street (Commercial St) but distanced enough to be a quiet night.The rooms are characteristic and spacious – we had a Queen Bed room - which was much bigger than the pictures looked and decorated thoughtfully and with quality. We wished we took a picture before we settled down!Thank you to all the team who made this such a lovely stay, we’d love to come back and would recommend!

Fantastic Stay

The owner and staff made us feel completely at home.   The room was spacious and clean.  The breakfast was awesome.    Easy walk to everything in Ptown but one block off the main drag made it nice for quiet time. The outside spaces were a great combination pf quiet sun or shade as desired.  Can’t wait to get back

Very clean and pleasant setting. Breakfast was beautiful. Only issue was no hot water in shower yes there was hot in the sink. Reported it to Saturday day host and she suggested I must have been showering while everyone else was which doesn't explain why there was hot water in the sink still. Returning Saturday afternoon she said they looked at it and confirmed that they had verified that I had hot water in the shower. There was still no hot water in the shower. I reported this to the other host and he stated that he would need to call the owner but that they were full and could not make any re-accommodation. I would definitely return if only for the comfy bed and the wonderfull breakfast.

Lovely little hotel in a great location, with lovely staff and a very nice breakfast. We found our room to be small and pretty basic and rather noisy, being right next to the road. 

The room we were given had limited space for our bags and we were woken up several times by traffic on the road (despite the ear plugs given). Breakfast was very well done and perfectly adequate, with fruit, yoghurts and toast/bagels (although croissants were dry). Happy hour was a nice touch.

Nice little hotel

Not much more to say! Loved staying here and felt so cared for, safe, rested yet close to all the action of town. Can’t recommend this place more! If you’re expecting a large room, you won’t find that here (or in much of ptown) but if you want a comfortable, clean hotel that feels more like a B&B or staying with friends, this is your place.

Clean, quaint, comfy and close

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Salt House Inn for two nights in early June!  It was absolutely fantastic.  The accommodations were perfect - clean and updated but still felt cozy and welcoming.  The staff was excellent as well!  Jordan was so helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations.  He even made reservations for us one night!  The location of the Salt House Inn is also perfect.  Very central to the main the street and less than a 10 minute walk from the Ferry Port.  Only good things to say about this Bed & Breakfast.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway

I made a last minute decision to book the Salt House Inn for two nights and get a change of scenery from home for a few days. I booked the smaller of rooms, with en suite bathroom. It was perfect for one, and I think two could get by even though it is small. It was clean and well appointed, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Each morning's breakfast included a frittata, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice, and was self-serve from the small dining room area. I appreciated the free off-street parking, and the proximity to town (a short walk down to the heart of Commercial Street). All in all, a perfect stay.
