The John Randall House

This was my second stay at the John Randall House. I love it for its location, the ease of making reservations, the check in/check out process, the care and concern that the owner and his staff show for every detail. The beds are great, the rooms are clean and all of the guests are conscious of each other as far as noise and the shared spaces. I will be back, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Provincetown.

I have been coming here for many years.  My stay is always peaceful and relaxing  I like that I am close enough to the action but far away enough that I am not a part of it 24-7  Don is a friendly and helpful host

An amazing place to stay.  An actual New England cottage experience in a lovely New England seaside town.  Love staying every year.  The location is perfect.  The host, Don, is friendly, helpful and attentive.  Can't say enough. You will love, too.

Great location. Super quiet at night. Comfortable.Spotless. Beautiful artwork in the high traffic area.Don, the host is a sweet gentleman and super gracious. Plus he has a cuddly puppy that said hi to me on his daily breaks .

I have to say, I stayed in one of the cottages and the cozy feel and the amazing decor made me feel right at home. The owner of the guest house was very inviting and very kind. We had a nice time going to the library, the beach, and the restaurants were amazing. A definite must-go and an amazing experience over-all, will go again.

Awesome weekend for our anniversary and Halloween!  We've stayed in various rooms at JRH for many years and always loved the rooms, hospitality, and fantastic location.  This time we stayed in Serenity for 3 nights and loved it.  Lots of space, really nice accomodations with beauty, and Don as a great host.  We're hooked!

This place is extremely clean. The gentlemen who great us was friendly and very attentive to all of his guest. Asked “how our day went. Each morning. We stayed on the 3rd floor and he carried my wife’s luggage. 😁

Don provides a lovely and stress free time in a beautiful setting. The breakfast is charming and the House is comfortable and wonderful. The House is centrally located and close to all the sites in town 

Just finished up a weeklong stay at John Randall House Bed and Breakfast in Provincetown. This was my first experience staying here after many years visiting Ptown.
Don Collins is the pleasant and professional host here, overseeing a well equipped and spotless guest house. (Thanks! Barissa) Our accommodations were comfortable and spacious and the continental breakfasts were certainly ample and varied providing a great start to the day.
The house is conveniently located on Bradford Street in the center of town making it an ideal location for exploring everything Provincetown has to offer from the East to the West end of town. (pretty cool that there is a bike shop next door as well)
I hope to return soon!

First time staying here and oh so happy that we made this choice. Location couldn't be better, 5 minutes from all the activity on Commercial St but secluded enough that your rest time is quiet and peaceful. Room was clean and spacious, we stayed in Superior Queen Room 1 with private bathroom. Breakfast was varied and that 2nd or was it 3rd cup of coffee, while sitting in the porch area, always started our day off just fine. If you needed anything or just wanted some conversation, innkeeper Don was always there and was a pleasure to deal with. Nothing but good to say about John Randall House and next time we visit P-Town, we know where to stay. Forgot to mention all the beautiful artwork in common areas and room, an added bonus.

Wonderful Place in Every Way

We love the bustle of Provincetown but need a little quiet in our vacations, too.  The Rising Sun cottage at John Randall House gave us just what we were looking for.  The cottage is gorgeous.  Beautifully and comfortably furnished (two cozy leather couches, King size bed and Queen bed in the two bedrooms) and decorated.   There is original art work throughout the cottage.  Walk one block away and you are in the middle of all of the wildness of Commercial Street - restaurants, bars, shows....  Then a quick walk back if you need a rest.  Don is a gracious host.

A little piece of heaven

I've been staying here for years, excellent location and accomodations.
This year first time weather sucked downpour  rain ,i would  hate to have been any were else under 
these conditions.The breaakfast is excellent, staying here is like staying in an art galery, because of the decorations.IIt is a 5 minute walk to the pier and downtown .

short vacation, to get out of Maine

First time out to Provincetown.  Arriving tired and hungry our check-in was super easy.  They tell you where they leave the keys for you and luckily there was fresh fruit to satiate my hunger. They serve breakfast every morning which was great because I work out in the morning at Mussel Beach. Cereal, juice, eggs, bread and more. They get these fresh pastries from the bakery up the road. I loved this.  Their staff is very friendly professional. The property has different chairs and places to relax if you don't feel like being in the action. I loved we were close to the CVS and commercial street. There's the provincetown brewery right across the street (I don't drink) but if I did I'd be over there having a pint.  Overall excellent location, and centrally located. If you're coming to Provincetown the John Randall house is where you should stay if you can get in.  The owner says they book up fast during high season.  I had a great time in provincetown and mostly becasue of this wonderful place.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I come to Provincetown

John Randall House is conveniently located on Bradford St in the center of town & easily walkable to everywhere in Ptown. 6 of the 12 rooms (including 2 all-new beautiful cottage/condos in the backyard) feature private bathrooms, & the other 6 rooms share 2 bathrooms on 2 floors in the main house which is 3 stories. It is, thankfully, a quiet house overseen by charming host/owner Don, who lives on site. It's old-fashioned homey style is a welcome respite. Breakfast is included. (Help yourself to baked goods, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt.) Don is very friendly & warm, & you get the feeling that he wouldn't put up with any nonsense if it presented itself. We've stayed here 4 times & always felt safe & cared-for. There are 2 outdoor seating/table areas & a front enclosed porch with lots of windows & light. It's a great find, rates are reasonable for Ptown, & Don himself is the icing on the cake!
