Pottsville Motor Inn

My family's home collapsed on June 28th, and we have been unable to return ever since. We have been moving from hotel to hotel, and finally was able to get assistance to have a stay here. We will be staying here for a period of time, and we have 3 kids. This is really not a bad motel, at all. I read other reviews that made this place sound like a drug Haven, but i can assure you it is not. Sure, it's slightly outdated, but again... It's a motel, not a 5 star hotel. This room is bigger than the hotel rooms we've been in, the AC works great so it's nice and cold in here, the bathtub is big which is perfect for my kiddos, the fridge is nice and big, the microwave works great, the room was clean when we arrived (the motel manager made sure of that!). I would say the only downside is our room does stink like cigarettes, however, my fiance and i are both smokers, and grew up around it, so it's nothing we really aren't used to. However, with the kids, we will be smoking outside. I cannot thank the motel manager enough for allowing us to stay here with our kids, while we save up money and get into a home, and to Children and Youth for assisting us here as well. This has been an extremely stressful couple of weeks for us, and i feel like we can finally relax a minute, breathe, make up a game plan, and get into our own home again.
