We spent three nights at River Cove as the first leg of our anniversary get-away before driving to Seattle. The place was beautifully kept and the service was superb. Eric was a great host as well as a talented cook - with wonderful breakfast's that he tailored to meet the needs of my wife (who is plant-based) while I enjoyed the Huckleberry pancakes. I'm still trying to get Eric to share his recipe for chocolate-chip coconut oatmeal cookies. River Cove was like an oasis - tucked next to a lake and surrounded by vegetation and a meticulously manicured greenery. Sitting out back - with the view of the lake and the sound of the water stream feature running over the rocks as it cascaded down the hill - was soooo relaxing. Being so close (10 minutes) to CDA without getting caught up in the "tourism" of it all was a real plus. We're hoping to make it an annual trip in the future!
