Blue Ridge Motel

My 16 year old son had an event in New Milford and we were looking for a place to stay at the last minute & we ended up at the Blue Ridge Motel.  Very pleasantly surprised!  Our room was very clean and perfect for a weekend stay.  The owners were very nice & accommodating.  The scenery around the motel was beautiful & the Green Gables restaurant which is right next door to the motel has fabulous food & service!  Looking forward to staying at the Blue Ridge Motel again!!

Stayed here for one night on our motorcycle weekend ride on our way to the Adirondacks in early June. The room and bathroom is on the small side but still comfortable and fulfilled our needs. The shower stall is quite small, even though I’m claustrophobic, the clear doors allowed me to not be affected. It was harder for my larger husband to scrub his feet, but he wasn’t too bothered by it. I like the fact that they have the old fashioned “Vacancy - No Vacancy” sign which seems to be disappearing from hotels. It’s nice to know without having to keep getting off your bike to go in and check. Located along Rt. 11. Easy access from Rt. 81. I have to say it was VERY CLEAN!!! The price was right too, unlike the way overpriced hotels we stayed at on the rest of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are small and antiquated, but clean and very accomodating staff. Wifi was good,  and free.  TV was good,  cable HBO Cinemax  etc... No bathtub , just small shower, it had fridge and microwave. For the price and convenience it was great.

If you like vintage neon signs, you'll like the Blue Ridge Motel's. It needs a paint job, but that's OK.  Our room was small and basic but that was fine. Lots of hot water, and blue (or was it green?) sheets, which were a nice touch. The bathroom was new, and the teeny weeny fiberglass shower may not fit larger folk, so be warned. I liked the windows to the parking lot/street being high up so you could lounge in bed with windows and drapes open without being visible. The room was freshly painted and very clean. It looked like the owners were refreshing the place one piece at a time, so you have to give them credit for doing what they can.  We will be back!  Another plus if you've been driving all day is the Green Gables restaurant next door. So nice and relaxing not to have to get back in the car.

Very clean and very affordable!

A very nice weekend

Basic independent motel, just perfect for a road trip.

Small antiquated but clean

I was on a motorcycle trip in April, I was cold, wet, and tired when I stopped at the motel. The owner was extremely nice during check-in and even gave me a rag for cleaning off my bike in the morning.
   The room was very clean, the shower was very warm, thankfully and the option to increase the heat was much appreciated and warmed the room very quickly.
   Overall I enjoyed my stay as basic as it was and would stop again if I’m in the area.

Cozy

Tried to get a room last night. When I called the lady was all nice until I said I had a service dog.  She hung up on me 2 times.  I called management the next day and got the same thing. Not American owner and doesn't think he has to follow laws to protect the disabled.
