Lovely country farm setting. Very clean. Delicious breakfast . 
We got a personalized tour from the 7 year old boy who lives there, he knew everything about everything that goes with living in a farm.
The porch sits high up so you have a lovely view while enjoying breakfast

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway off the beaten path!  Karen is a wonderful host.  Breakfasts were delicious!  Massages were a key addition to our relaxing weekend away from the kids!  She is a woman of many talents….. Highly Recommend! 

Berry Patch Getaway

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful B&B. As mentioned in another review, the house sits back in a beautiful country setting. The rooms are nice and well maintained. Our bed was very comfortable! Some rooms have private access. Our room had a door that opened  onto the patio where we enjoyed sitting and looking at the county scenery. There is seating on upper deck and lower patio. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. We highly recommend staying there. 

Beautiful Inn & Country Scenery

My wife and I stayed at The BerryPatch early in June. The inn is so beautiful and sits back off a beautiful plot of land. The Inn and the rooms are very well maintained. The breakfast was very good, great service and have the choice of eating in your room, the dining room or on the main deck. The area offers so much to do and so much to see and you don't even have to leave the property to get a beautiful scenery for the Inn creates a beautiful escape from reality. Thank you to The BerryPatch! We will be back!! 

Beautiful time!

We were greeted by the owner's son (couldn't be more than 8 or 10) who welcomed us, led us to the main door, and stepped aside so we could enter.  Once inside, he suggested we have a seat on the comfy sofa and his Mom would be right out.  

Karen was charming, accommodating and took us to our room.  Freshly baked brownies that melted in our mouths were on the dresser.  We were in the By the Sea which got us in the mind of the Caribbean.  We loved the decorations as we are frequent cruisers on it and were leaving on one the following week, Only negative was, the bed was too soft for us and the tv was too small and far away from seating.   

Breakfast was scrumptious both mornings.  Karen is a massage therapist and both of us took advantage of that.  Wonderful and reasonable.  If you go to Berry Patch - get one,  really prepared us for the next work week.

Loved it so much, we rebooked for June 2 weekend.  Karen was away on a cruise but her Mom, Fran, showed us where Karen got her Hostess skills.  This time we stayed in the White Tail suite.  My partner Curt is an outdoorsman and enjoyed the decor very much.  Breakfast was as lovely as Karen's, and Fran is just as charming along with Rhonda who served our breakfast out on the deck on a lovely sunny morning.  

After breakfast, we moved to a table vacated by another guest to play our favorite game.  The breeze was just right, and not too sunny.  Relaxing and enjoyable til we left to visit friends in the area!

Again, the only complaint was tv too small to see and hear from across the room.  We like to catch the news in the morning and Curt needs the noise to fall asleep. But these small issues will not stop us from going back.  We are booked for the Fourth of July (our post-birthday weekend) and this week we also booked 4 rooms for the kids and grandkids for the annual trip to Hershey for lights and Park the first week in December.  

For a lovely relaxing weekend, we highly recommend it.  

The Place to Stay for a Relaxing Weekend!

While the place is very cute, there were many odd things about it. First and foremost, there is NO AC in the room. Room description also advertised a bathrobe and desk and those were not provided either. I had to sleep with two fans and one window open (the other two did not have screens). That night, I went to get a drink at the coffee bar and the common area was very dark and could not find a light switch anywhere. I was told by other guests that the back staircase outside had a broken step and there was no warning. The walls are very thin. At breakfast, you didn’t get a choice they just gave you what they wanted. I’ve been to several bed and breakfasts and one I go every year with my family and to say the breakfast was small is an understatement. I had a slice of quiche, two triangle pita breads, and a sticky bun. Meanwhile, the couple beside me got a completely different breakfast. I don’t like quiche but it was better than nothing but I would’ve liked a choice. Staff was friendly but odd. I was asked if my mother was joining for breakfast and I said no she just dropped me off because I don’t have a car. I mean what kind of staff doesn’t know who’s staying at their establishment? Lastly, while I am not completely handicapped with a wheelchair or crutches, I do have sciatica.  There were no handicapped spots, ramps, and as far as I could tell all rooms were on the second floor. I can’t see how anyone in a wheelchair could stay here since it is not ADA accessible.

Not worth the money you pay….

Very quaint and comfortable rooms, an expansive view of the countryside, and a lovely walking garden. Breakfast is amazing.

The Berry Patch is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.  The room was spacious and clean.  And the breakfast was filling and delicious.  It is reasonably priced and absolutely worth it.  We hope to go back when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the outside areas (deck, patio, landscaping).

Wonderful Getaway

Karen was a hospitable host who prepares delicious breakfast. My room was comfortable and quiet, and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the jet tub in my room after spending long days at a conference.

Lovely place!  Breakfasts were delicious, service was great.  Loved the coziness of the room with the fireplace!
