Room was updated from past stays there. Pleasantly surprised

It was very nice and clean. And very quite.People were very friendly.I would make reservations again,nest time I need to go to Pa.

The couple that own the place are beyond helpful and friendly. Our first evening, we had an issue with the tv going out, and after reviewing the satellite had gone out, they were more than helpful and offered us another room :) The location and environment were perfect for our stay to go to a lot of local antique shops in the area. We had such an enjoyable stay. The property was very clean and has a very welcoming atmosphere.

The room was clean and comfortable.   Quiet area off of the main road.  Room was perfect for an overnight stay.

site is very close , check in was easy, check out was also easy.  will probably stay there again

the motel was a little dated BUT was a very nice stay I would stay there again

One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on, pillow was perfect as well. Would return if I’m in the area again.

Check-in was not a good experience. Owner couldn't find my reservation. Finally got my copy of the email to show him (the one he said three times he didn't need to see). Never had that happen there before. Room was like it normally is, clean & comfortable. Everything worked. Check-out is easy. Just drop the key thru the door slot.

If you want fancy impress-your-gal luxury, Penn Amish is not the place for you.     IF however, you desire a friendly, honest & well maintained moderate cost place to rest you will not be disappointed.  The property is a classic mid-century roadside pre-chain motel.  Iron & hair dryer are available at the friendly front desk.   Good selection of standard definition channels on modest flat screen.  Cute little sufficient soap sample in-room. Bring your shampoo.  Ask early for an extra pillow if desired.  Dorm room refrigerator and micro.  In wall 80's style air conditioner.   Modest noise, does the job.

My wife and I come for the antique malls and our needs are simple. Penn Amish is family owned and operated, our room was very clean, comfortable with new bathroom, new TV, AC worked great. And quiet! Plenty of hot water, great water pressure.
We asked for extra pillows. No problem.
There's a Turkey Hill convenience store right across the road for good coffee and plenty of diners nearby for breakfast. 
We'll stay here again and save ourselves some $$$ over the chain hotels nearby.

Clean, Quiet, Comfortable - Great Location

The owners of the motel are very friendly and accommodating.  The bathroom is nice and bright.  Of all the places I've stayed this bathroom had the best lighting and I could actually see to put my make up on. The lighting is better than in my own bathroom! My only criticism of the bathroom is that there was some mold in the shower. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was turned off when I checked in so if you need something to be cool as soon as you get there perhaps let them know to turn it on beforehand. The air conditioner was also turned off so it took a little bit of time for the room to cool down.

Suits my needs

Parking is free and always close to room.Owners are always friendly and available.

Safe location to serve its purpose, nothing fancy here, but perfect for what I needed. Thanks!
