Me and my girlfriend had a great time it was an awesome stay

Absolutely loved it! Definitely coming back!

Property is quaint and a bit hidden right beside the coast. It is well maintained and very pretty. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The views were truly beautiful as our balcony opened toward the sea. We stayed an extra night simply due to the view. Hummingbirds adorned our balcony as there were feeders in the suite above us. A bit of a bucket list item to stay on the coast and this place made that possible at a fair price. Will stay again if giver the chance.

This Inn was wonderful! Tons a little outdated but honestly, didn’t bother us at all. The ocean views and grounds were amazing!! We will definitely be staying here again!!

The area is like your snuggled away from everything else

Spectacular view

Beautiful view. Peaceful and safe for exploring because of limited car access. Lovely grounds. Pool and hot tub were great. Some electrical outlet funkiness in the kitchen. Minor thing- the pool opening at 10:00am is rough with an 11:00am check out. Especially with a kiddo who was ready to swim at 8am. Overall lovely experience.

This is a unique property overlooking the ocean. It's a bit out of the way, but that's a big part of charm. In addition to being within easy walking distance to Devil's Punch and Beverly Beach, the beach below is stunning, particularly at low tide. For those who like walking hills, this is a great place to be, since the various buildings are terraced into a hill. If walking isn't your thing, just enjoy the view from your balcony. The rooms come in various sizes and shapes and each is unique in the decor. All in all a fabulous getaway.

Driving up, this property feels like a dream. The windy, moss covered drive with towering pines and ferns is simply magical. The property itself is like a lush rainforest, the footpaths creeping through the silence. The beach and tide pools were absolutely wonderful and we had so much fun finding all sorts of marine life. However, most of my positive experiences are focused on the scenery and the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast. We stayed in a two queen bed room with a forest view. The view was spectacular, part forest and part beach with a lovely nightly soundtrack of waves. The room itself was fine, a cute, if slightly dated room. The water pressure was great and the hot water did not get cold. The beds however… truly the worst bed and pillows I have ever slept on in my life. I felt as though I was sleeping on a box spring and not a mattress at all. The pillows were so flat, and there were no extra blankets in the room. Throughout our six night stay, there was no housekeeping provided at all. By the end of the week, our room smelled like dirty socks. The restaurant is only open Thursday- Sunday and only in the afternoon. There is no breakfast available at the hotel, and only one place in town to grab something quickly. Otherwise, Newport and Depoe Bay are the only options. This was misrepresented upon booking. I honestly wouldn’t have stayed here if I had known. A lot of the property is timeshare property so it is a gamble what the room will look like.

I will preface this by saying… you can’t beat the setting, the view, and the service here. All of that is top notch. The rooms, however, are where it falls apart a little. There were a number of items that were in need of some serious attention. We had a hole in the laminate flooring and the floor was spongy surrounding it - one electrical outlet was just dead and another didn’t even have a cover plate. Exposed wiring and wall socket were very evident - the shower rod was riddled with rust - towel rods in the bathroom were loose and floppy on the wall - the bed was at the end of its life. It was very squeaky, sloped, and had a hump in the middle - the bathroom door was missing laminate and chunks of wood along the bottom. Now, with an establishment of this age you expect wear and tear. This, however, was off putting. When you’re charging +$200/night… I expect better care to be shown.

Great views… ok rooms

We love this place, but this was our first time getting a "loft" room. Pros and cons, just like anywhere but I would definitely stay here again. This is my 4th time here in the last year or so. Renter warning...this property is on a cliff side and there are A LOT of stairs to go up and down to move about the grounds.Pro's: The heated pool is absolutely wonderful. It's so nice to swim in, and the views are stunning. Property grounds are equally beautiful, you should see the place when all the flowers are in bloom, it's incredible. Front desk staff is always pleasant and easy to work with and happy to see customers. Shuttle drivers are all great and accommodating. Cons: The unit we rented (private owned) was a little rough. Shower floor is soft and cracked and it's on the upper floor. The windows are thin and outdated. The heat/fireplace/tv system was VERY difficult to operate; there was a bag of remotes and some were labeled but didn't work. Super frustrating. The water faucet in the kitchen was broken, so it only had 1 spray setting. There was no soap to wash a dish. The walls and windows are very thin, so we heard everything in the unit next to us, conversations, kids bouncing around (totally okay, mine were too) and even the movie they were watching.I think the owners could take a little time to do a few upgrades and it would really make a huge difference. But, for the money I paid it was worth it and I will go back to Inn at Otter Crest again and again!

Beautiful property

When we come to the beach we ONLY come to Inn at Otter Crest. This is the most beautiful and peaceful property we've ever stayed at. I love that there are a variety of room types from just a single occupancy to the entire family or friend gathering. We have stayed in almost every type of room here the offer. My favorite is still the loft with an ocean view. You gotta give this place a try

NEVER STAYING ANYWHERE ELSE

Our room was very clean and pleasant.  We ate dinner at the restaurant there, such a cute place.  Small but cute, friendly service, good food.  I think because they had only just opened a couple days before our stay was the reason for a small & limited menu.  The only thing we didn't like about our stay was that you are so far from your car, they offer room service which is nice.  You check in, park and someone will show up in a golf cart and pick you & luggage up and take you to your room.  Interesting!

Comfortable stay

Clean and nice view. Unfortunately there was a connecting door to the room next to ours and the door had roughly 1 inch of space underneath and at the top and was in no way sound proof. When my husband laid on the ground he could clearly see into their room and we could hear every conversation the people staying next to us had.

What a spectacular find! This is such a every place. I can’t imagine any room not having a great view with how it is situated on the cliff. Just across from Otter Rock. Went in winter during King tides. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Walking distance to Devil’s Punchbowl. Awesome outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi! I traveled with a friend this trip. I plan on being back for a solo stay, but also another time to bring family!! Love this place!
