Americas Best Value Inn Osceola

Large rooms, mini fridge and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable, room was always clean and smell fresh every day when I got in in the evening. Management was  courteous and always making sure I had all I need. Family  restaurant next door that always had a evening buffet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs extended stay.

My Extended Stay

I wasn't expecting a lot for the price, and that's precisely what I got. This isn't to say that it was a bad stay. This place is easy to find, right off of Highway 34, and there were plenty of places nearby for food and drinks. The bed was comfy, the water was hot, and the room seemed pretty clean. There was a microwave and a decent-sized refrigerator for keeping your drinks cold.

That being said - it's in need of an update. The toilet flushed so slowly you thought it was overflowing. I initially thought it was clogged! Some of the chairs in our room felt sticky on the back and I disliked touching them. The air-conditioning leaked so much water that we filled the ice bucket over night - but at least we kept it from leaking all over the carpet? Pillows were flat, towels were incredibly thin. A few improvements here and there and this place would be in good shape! 

The 'continental' breakfast, honestly, was kind of a joke. Bagels, bread, two kinds of cereal, some packages of oatmeal, some pre-packaged sweet buns, and coffee. It really would have been nice to see some fruit or fruit juice in there, and maybe some other pastry options, like a regular donut. 

But overall, our stay was pleasant. The staff was very friendly, and the room suited our needs for a weekend trip back to my home town.

A room with everything you need and not much more

We had to clean the bathroom from someone else's makeup and kill some crickets.  Bed were very comfortable but pillows, towels, and linens have seen better days.  "Continental Breakfast" was stale bread and stale cereal.  Employees were very nice.  There is a train right next to the hotel that goes by blowing its whistle at least 3 times night, they put earplugs in the hotel room.  Cheap price,we could have lived with everything but the train, rough on kids.


Not a pleasant surprise

Carpet left our feet dirty so that when we got in the shower, we left black foot prints in the bottom of the tub.  Would not recommend nor will I be staying again. More because of the smoke smell! The carpet can be cleaned.

No Smoking/Strong smoke smell

I have stayed here a few times and it was fine, but I was just there and there were bugs in my room. The front deak person just said it was “cricket season”. Ny advice SPRAY THE DOORS SO THEY DONT GET IT! The only good thing is they refunded me my money, but I did go to the Super 8 next door. Much better service, room and atmosphere. DO NOT STAY AT THE AMERICAS BEST VALUE IN! I guess it was a good thing the one by me in Minnesota burned down...
