This was a nice, clean, quiet room. It was a little small, but fine for what we needed.

The property is very conveniently located on highway 101. Its clean and well kept. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming.

Great place to stay in Florence. Close to downtown, comfortable room and very nice staff. Our favorite place to stay at the coast!

This place was amazing ,the hospitality,  friendliness home-like feel & cleanliness was excellent. TOP NOTCH. Got to meet the President of the Landmark  as well.FRIENDLY YET VERY PROFESSIONAL .Hope to come here many more times in the near future !!

I enjoyed my stay here very much! The staff are super friendly. My room was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable motel beds I've ever slept on. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The room was awesome but the bed was a bit soft.

Lots of room and the kitchen was handy for spending a week in a hotel. Will be back!

The staff at the Inn were friendly and helpful even though they had not received my Hotels.com reservation (made the same day of arrival) by the time I arrived.  They made a great restaurant suggestion and assured me they woyld honor the reservation and ensure I did not get double charged.  I was only able to do a text chat with Hotels.com - which was frustrating since my first attempt resulted in the chat being ended by the app before anything was resolved.  The second chat attempt seemed to work. The agent had no idea what went wrong but did send an email to the hotel and make a call to them.

Clean and quiet with friendly staff

This place was great. It's like staying at your mom's house. Squeaky clean. Comfy bed. Silent atop a short hill overlooking the town and river, yet walkable to old town sweetnesses and the 101 "gasoline cities of America" (Kerouac) roadside vibe.My fave: the "No vacancy" sign on the thigh-burning slope, which looks perpetual, like Hotel California.

We liked this place! It’s pretty small which we like better than a some of the huge hotels on the coast. We liked that we could walk down to old town Florence in a few minutes and be right in the river. We could even see the river from our room which was lovely. The only thing we would recommending an upgrade on is the bed. The mattress is pretty much a marshmallow. I didn’t mind it so much but my guy ended up sleeping on the floor for his back.

Nice place to stay in Old Town Florence

My wife and I had a great two-night stay at the Landmark Inn.  We were in room 10, which is a mini-suite with separate bedroom, bathroom, sitting area, and kitchenette.  it was perfect for our stay, providing comfort and spaciousness.  The view from the bay window is lovely, too!  The furniture and decor are attractive, and the entire suite was very clean.  I'm honestly surprised that this small inn only ranks as a two-star property.  It was as nice, or nicer, than most of the three-star accommodations we usually seek out.  

The location is convenient to the Old Bay Street area; it's about a five-minute walk or a very quick drive.  I would recommend that visitors keep the windows closed at night, as there can be quite a bit of street noise, especially early in the morning.  

I plan to stay at the Landmark Inn next time I visit Florence.  Hopefully I can get room 10 again!   :)

Perfect Choice in Florence

We are on a road trip and stopping wherever we get tired. This place had good reviews so we decided to stay. The place is cute, quiet and clean. Perfect for a night or two. The staff was friendly.  It is at the top of a very steep hill so i don't think walking down will be easy but it's in a good location and across from a cafe. Would stay again!

All in all we liked the motel. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The thing we did not like was the location of the place. It was on top of a very steep driveway, and even though we could have walked into town from there, it would not have been easy to walk down the hill and then walk the distance into town.

Nice and clean hotel. Cute exterior with the Victorian look. You can tell they put time into cleaning their rooms. That's a great bonus! It's right in town, up on a hill. As others have stated, it is on a steep incline and also the parking is pretty tight. Be careful and courteous when opening your car doors. We stayed in room 9 which is a King suite. The room could use a small make-over. The carpet is burgundy, the walls are white... think late 90's early 2000's. Of course that won't affect your stay, but a little color and getting rid of the dated carpet would really do a lot. In room 9, swapping the living area and bedroom area would do wonders. The bedroom is when you walk in the door, basically on the other side of the walkway. The living area is on the forest view side. Swapping them would give the bedroom area the privacy that would be better. In checking in, there was a very strong scent of Patrollie flowing. If you're sensitive to intense scents, or patrollie, you may want to note that. Personally, I would suggest a more friendly scent as patrollie is a strong one and disturbing to those who may know the history of it. Overall, we'd stay again and had a good time.

Nice Florence find

Highly recommend you try the spa tub suites.The spa tub is large and really perfect for a relaxing night. I heard management is considering taking out the spa rooms-I hope they don’t! Super cute hotel that’s walking distance  to the old town area where there’s a cute riverfront with restaurants and shops.

This pretty little motel is situated on a hill with a nice view of the town. It is walkable to the downtown in the water. The bed is comfortable. There’s a little kitchen with a table chairs, microwave, fridge, and cooktop. Dishes are provided along with a few pots and pans. Tea and coffee were available but the coffee was bad. We would definitely visit again.

Just About Perfect 

My husband and I spent 3 nights at The Landmark Inn and we loved it. Yes the bed was soft. Yet the owl softly hooting not to far off was enjoyable. We had a second floor room and we had the river view.  Far off enough the sounds of a working port town  did not disturb. I can't for the life of me see what someone had against the toilet. They were clean plenty of paper. The entire place was very clean even the windows and floors. It was very quite. We had people under us and beside us and no sounds.
The folks who run the place are great nice and attentive. No smoking indoors and it seemed folks listening. They were away from any doors or windows. I did not use the hot tube so no help there. Coffee in am. We requested a coffee pot. It was a full size coffee pot, nice. No breakfast. There is a great breakfast place at the end of the short street. It was a good meal. Anywhere we ate in old town was very good. The town has so many little store. Art ,Antiques eateries with fine seafood to plain good pizza and a beer locally supported by fine chiefs to fancy artisans. It is nearing Christmas and this town has done very well lights in small parks the CPA on 101 had really out done itself. We will be back and Florence Oregon your a great town
