Always my favourite place to stay when visiting this area of the Catskills. Lots of trails to hike nearby and many other fun activities to engage in as well as lots of great places to eat nearby. Rooms are always very clean and well appointed. Stayed solo the first time five years ago and came with my wife this time. We were both pleased with the amenities. Definitely highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect stay. Our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and even came with a cute kitchen (great for morning coffee).  We loved sitting on the porch in the evening. Our host was accommodating--and even contacted us when we accidentally left something valuable behind the next morning. Would love to return sometime soon!

We absolutely loved this place! We rented the downstairs room; which was a suite. The room was immaculate and we loved the fact that the owners have kept it very traditional in its decor. The most amazing bed and linens! The owners Tom and Dana  were so helpful and responsive to us in regard to questions we had about dining and local attractions. We stayed for 3 nights and were so pleased with our decision to stay in this intimate B&B. We highly recommend the Belle!!!

The Phoenicia Belle was everything I hoped it would be for my get-away.  The proprietor, Tom, is a most friendly, helpful, and responsive correspondent.  My room (I stayed in the Violet Suite) was sparkling clean and very welcoming.  The Violet Suite includes a fully-equipped kitchen.  The house itself retains all its 19th-century charm.  There is a lovely front parlor as well as a couch, table, and other seating available on the front porch.  And the location is perfect—easy walking distance to restaurants, a pharmacy, the lovely Phoenicia Public Library, assorted shops, and a grocery store, which is right next door to the B&B.  It is also an easy drive to Woodstock and Kingston, and a great base from which to explore everything the area has to offer.  Thank you, Tom!

And an old fashioned charming bathroom with beautiful tiled floors. The room is charming with books galore and I am an avid reader so it was great. Very quiet snd had a good sleep in a comfy bed.  Will stay here again when visiting my daughter in nearby Mt tremper .
Reasonably priced in town .  Fresh flowers as wee.

This location was cozy, clean and warm with a welcoming host (Tom), who had plenty of great regional knowledge to share. Breakfast was lovely. I would definitely book it again and/or recommend it to anyone looking to lodge within walking distance of some great trails.

After 7 months travelling and 60 plus hotels/B&Bs/Airbnbs this is just the sort of place we needed. Quiet, super clean, great facilities to self cater, great host (Tom) and a great base to explore the Catskills. Good pizza opposite but we cooked in the cute, well equipped kitchen in the ‘Violet Suite’. Perfect. Thanks Tom too for the maps, walking tips and general chat.

Stayed a weekend in the Audrey Suite, with bedroom (double bed), sitting room and up to date bathroom, taking up about half of the first floor.  Very nice accommodations at a reasonable price.  Enjoyed breakfast on the porch, although there are places within walking distance, but the convenience of the porch was worth it.  Right in the middle of Phoenicia, yet bedroom in the back made a quiet night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Phoenicia Belle! It is located on Main Street, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and very clean. Tom and his wife were lovely.  We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay! Right on the main street. Tom was very inviting and welcoming. Everything was very clean and he was available to answer any questions. He gave us some tips on where to go and we had a blast.  The shared bathroom was kept spotless and it was beautifully decorated. AC in the room kept us cool and bed was very comfy. Thanks Tom!

A Lovely Space, Perfectly Situated

Lovely charming inn  with a nice. Comfortable  room with ac snd loads of books. Although they do not serve breakfast  .

Although we never had breakfast at the Belle Tom was an amazing host.  We were very comfortable in Sylvia's room, which was very clean, and the shared bath was spotless and had everything you could want or need.  Tom was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, even towns further away.  He led us to the best hikes we could experience in our short stay.  We were able to hike 36 miles in a 2 1/2 day stay.  Next time we will take in Olana!

Great comfortable stay and close to everything!

The  hotel is right in the centre of the. Village of Phoenicia.The owner, Tom Fraser, made us very welcome and is very knowledgeable about the area, very helpful and with good advice.
The room we had was very pretty,  overlooking the Main Street of Phoenicia, with a very comfortable bed  and with a kitchen stocked with tea and coffee  and bathroom.
We would recommend this accommodation for a great stay in Phoenicia.
