Awful awful Awful communication. It cost $16 to even make a reservation - I had to cancel due to unexpected change of plans with my kids -  I cancelled over a week before my one night reservation and they wouldn’t refund me any money - literally over $200 gone and all the dude said over the phone was that “we are a family run business”. So this single mom is out $200 while they got double booking that night. Never heard of anything so shockingly unprofessional.

What a dump. Old, unheated cottages missing the most basic of "amenities" like heat, window coverings, soap, trash can liners, ugh. Guy who checked me in brought an old, funky space heater when requested, then told me it would heat up the whole place because it was "insulated", uh, no it didn't. Slept in three layers of clothing clutching my small, personal heating pad. Had to use the bed pillows, one of 2 towels provided. Was told the next morning my room was warmer than outside, so it must be warm. Treated like I was lucky to have gotten what I did.

Don't do it

I booked may 3rd for weekend may 20th to celebrate anniversary.  Due to covid had to cancelled.  Made 6 phone calls to get cancellation fee returned.  Not one call returned very poor customer service.......i will never book this place again and will tell everyone the same....

 · Previous review states broken window, Well that broken Window is Still there its just covered up with tin foil and then a mirror screwed over it to mask it . Great for the Bugs to squeeze through though. Found old teeth, trash and other old items in the Nightstand Drawers. Seriously an OLD TOOTH! Spiders allover the cabin, not just a few but everywhere Spider Webs in every corner of the room with dead bugs and spiders in them No lock on the Door & Not very private . Paint Peeling in the Bathroom . Either the cleaning lady is short and cannot see the spider webs or They are lying saying this cabin gets cleaned between uses . I had to clean it get the spiders and cobwebs and all that out of the cabin for 25 minutes to even get my 7 year old daughter to stay in there . She was not impressed . Keep in mind we just got done camping in Acadia mountain and spent 4 days sleeping on the ground and this was worse. I really didn't want to go this route but owners or booking.com offered no help in the matters at hand so Id like to warn other people . The Owner told me I should have " addressed it at the time of stay " and im sure is going to rebuttal that here but at 8:30pm after being at the waterpark for 10 hours with a 7 year old I was just looking for the nearest bed and the office was all sealed up closed by the time I got there. Also why should I have to explain to you that your place is disgustingly dirty and out of order? Isnt that why you have the cleaning fee? You should have explained it to the last person THEN Cleaned it. Quality inspections to assure the cabin is good to go for the next guest. Not after the fact . I would stay here again if the problems were addressed, it had a nice idea and concept and could be Good for families but in this current state I dont think its safe for the spiders that are living in there !

These places are just run down shacks. Rotten roofs, musty moldy and very dirty. I don't find it possible anyone could call this place anywhere near "clean and cozy"  We made a reservation based on what we saw online and immediately canceled upon arrival. Owner charged my credit card with the entire amount of our 3 day stay and refused any refund.   Don't book anything here!

Best part of our experience is when we drove off the property!

It's a DUMP and the owner lied point blank to me. Dirty and garbage all over. Couldn't open the windows, no television. No restaurant just a mess. Beware of this place the pictures are fuzzy for a reason and it isn't good

These are cabins have an old fashion flare--we had a ball!!! our cabin was clean and very quaint, on the property you will find grills, lawn furniture, screen gazebo's and fire pits--our cabin was clean and rustic and you can't beat the price !!!--Bonus--small seafood shack on the property where the owners will cook fresh seafood and there son Zac will bring it down to your cabin!! don't know of any other place at the beach would do that !!!

OLD FASHION LODGING AT A VERY GOOD PRICE

Very ordinary service. The cottages are very old. The dishes were dirty when we arrived. The beds are comfortable. It's possible to make a fire in the evening and there are good bakeries available. There are places with mosquito nets to let us eat out. On the main road near a dangerous intersection.
