Just had another visit here and I am still so impressed with this place. The people make this so special everyone is always so amazing and always there to help you or make your stay one of the very best experiences. Carol and Joe really are the warmest and most accommodating people they really do care about everyone that stays there I will be back time and time again.

If you want to be pampered, GO!! My mom, sister, and I go every year and the owners do an exceptional job making sure their guests are given first-class accommodations, food, and spa services. Everyone on the staff is wonderful! We love it and will continue making our annual weekend trip to the Rose Palace!

Echo Canyon Spa & Resort is a gem!  This place never fails to deliver a wonderful experience.  From the beautiful setting, the inviting rooms, to the most exceptional dinner that is always top tier... If you have never been, well then shame on you.  Peach Mimosa!! YES PLEASE!  The free breakfast is also a culinary treat.

The overall atmosphere at Echo Canyon was amazing. We were greeted by Miranda when we arrived and she showed us around the property. Then to our room. The room was very nice and comfortable. The view off the balcony was beautiful. Plenty of seating inside and out. The beds were comfortable and not too firm. The "fireplace" was a nice touch. The robes were very comfortable to wear. Miranda made a great drink at the bar while we waited for our massages. The massages were very nice a relaxing. Dinner was very elegant and delicious. The wait staff took excellent care of us. Breakfast was yummy as well. The house made peach juice and blackberry juice was some of the best I've ever had. The entire property was relaxing and refreshing. Perfect for a little get away.

Joe and Carol are top notch people and hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. The food and spa services are among the best we’ve ever had!! We will definitely go back for another weekend away!

We had a delightful stay. The host were very accommodating and went out of their way to provide great service. The food was fabulous and the spa services were great.

Wonderful Experience Every Year

Great weekend get away.

This little sanctuary is amazing! Upon arrival you will be personally greeted and given a tour of the property. Dakota gave us our tour and instantly made us feel welcome! We were on our honeymoon and every staff member made sure to congratulate us and make our stay extra special. Be sure to make dinner reservations as you won't want to miss the exquisite, three entree meal to be served by the most courteous waitstaff in a quaint dining room filled with soft lighting and music. The decor throughout the resort is elegant and unique, obviously selected with great thought and care. You can enjoy a drink in a quiet bar as well as visit the kitchen for complimentary snacks and drinks of great variety at any hour. You will have everything you need in your room including a jacuzzi bathtub, plenty of hot water, candles, mineral salts, and plush robes. We did not have to ask for anything as there were plenty of extra towels and toiletries tucked away in the beautiful full sized bathroom equipped with a great shower and make-up vanity. We unfortunately, did not get to try the spa due to time constraints but toured the area which was very clean and offered an extensive menu of services in which we will surely take full advantage of on our next stay! We didn't want to leave when check-out rolled around but got to meet Carol, the owner who truly cared to know how we felt about our stay. I just cant say enough good things about our amazing experience at Echo Canyon Spa Resort! Enjoy!!

Echo Canyon is world class nestled between Dallas and OKC. The photos do not do justice to the elegant antique beds, beautiful furnishings - it’s like being in a royal castle! The food is incredible- it makes The Ranch look like McDonalds. The spa services are tantalizing and the new pedicure throwns are the nicest I’ve ever seen- ever. The bar is beautiful and well stocked. The grounds are incredible. Joe and Carol VanHorn created a place we can go and have all 5 senses catered to, pampered, we leave and can’t wait until the next time we can steal away to this place tgat is more than a place, it’s a feel, a tone, an experience 🥰

Traveled the world- Echo Canyon is my happy place

Echo Canyon is a great place to get away!  The scenery is amazing with rolling hills and a beautiful fountain. The grounds are full of exotic plants orchards and vineyards.  The staff is courteous punctual and brought each course with perfect timing. The 5 star restaurant did not disappoint!  Everything the chef cooked was the best I have ever had. The steak melt in my mouth.  The duck was so tender.  The crab ravioli was amazing.  Desert was perfect.  Fresh homegrown peach sauce and fresh blackberry and hibiscus juice grown on the property.  Also the bartender made the best margaritas that we have ever had.  The room was clean and luxurious.  The bed was so soft.  We had great sleep and left rejuvenated and relaxed.  I feel completely spoiled and pampered.  

Must Experience

We absolutely love Echo Canyon. The Owners and the entire staff are amazing and very attentive. This is our 3rd visit and we can't wait until next time. It did rain on us all weekend but we still had a great weekend with no regrets. Very romantic and just a peaceful beautiful place.. we want to thank you guys for everything. A Perfect Weekend in Sulphur Ok..

Great accommodations, great staff, great owners and the best food ever!  From the moment of arrival a personal greeting and tour from Dakota set the tone.  He showed us all the features and amenities of Echo Canyon.  We went to our cottage (Lady Jane) and were very happy with it.  It was clean and smelled great with soothing music in the background.  Later we went to the bar to have a pre-dinner drink.  We were greeted by one of the owners, Joe Vanhorn and another attentive staff member McKenzie.  Drinks were excellent.  Then dinner......Wow!  This is at least as good as any dining experience I've ever had.  The filet was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth tender.  The roast duck, which I've never really cared for, was delicious, the Alaskan Halibut was also delicious.  The asparagus and twice baked potato were awesome as well.  Then the deserts were a beautiful presentation only rivaled by the great flavors.  A return to the bar and then a soak in the cottage's jacuzzi tub capped the evening.  It was a great experience, which we will certainly try to repeat as soon as we can.

So glad we found this little gem that’s so close to home! From the moment you enter the front gate, you are made to feel welcome and your every need is met. The food is sumptuous, the accommodations are luxurious, and the spa services are beyond relaxing. The beds and linens are delightfully comfortable, making for a very restful night’s sleep. This was our third trip, and it definitely won’t be our last. Thank you, Joe and Carol, for creating such a luxurious retreat.
