Greystone Motel

Shower was hot, tv was great and air conditioning was great.  Room was so so as far as cleanliness.  Mainly bathroom around toilet was not clean.  It was good for a one night stay.

It was a nice place the guy that checked me in was nice he said he has been there a long time

I Stay there quite often the people are always nice I never have any issues the water is always hot The beds are always comfortable just need a little fixing up

I had so much trouble getting the shower to work. I would suggest some instructions on how to use it. The room was clean and very tidy. One other complaint is that the air conditioner's filter had not been cleaned recently. I cleaned it myself to help out.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.  They checked a few times to be sure i was comfortable.

The motel is low cost, little and quaint. There is a vending machine and ice, It has a coffee maker in the room. Its enough for us. Its always been nice, the people are nice. Its low cost makes it easier on us then camping and we prefer to have AC in the summer. Never had an issue here, stayed 3 times just beware of the 1 room with the tiny shower which i think they fixed and removed anyhow, haha, That was an experience. If you expect the Ritz, well, stay at the Ritz. Its an older building with some flaws and they have been doing construction to make it nicer. We have always enjoyed staying here.  The cost and quality all combined is 100% satisfactory to me. I do not need super amenities and lousy cheap continental breakfast made from the worst known products in the world, haha. Ive only had one breakfast included that was actually real food. So, having no breakfast here is just fine. The cost reflects that. Thank you Greystone for being close to our event. Shukriya!

I want to give a shout out the front desk agent during the night shift. He was extremely helpful, professional, welcoming, and made me feel like an important success to your business. Not only did we have great conversation, when I had to stay an extra night, he remembered my name, and why I was in town.The room was very clean and nicely decorated.Let's be honest, there are a ton of hotel to pick from on Hillsboro,Staff is the reason I will choose your hotel. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Clean rooms.....sure it's a older motel but me and my husband liked it. The bed was comfortable and very clean sheets and bedding. They do have free Wi-Fi and it works good. They have security cameras up and that made me feel safe. The owner is very nice and helpful. You can't beat the price and it's close to Rocky Fort Lake a Beautiful area.

This is an older motel where you park in front of your room.  I find this rapidly disappearing older motor court style much more convenient.  There is a nice ice machine near the office and a small refrigerator and microwave in the room.  There is no breakfast but I'm sure there are restaurants and fast food nearby.

Clean Older Motel

I kinda feel like this place unfairly gets a bad rap but it was good by me.  I stayed here about 10 days or so by myself.  It was a convenient location for me to do most things that I wanted to do in the area.  It was a decent deal in terms of expense. You mostly have to ring a buzzer on the office door to get someone to come to the front desk to buzz you in and help you. One guy who works there did seem a bit grouchy but it was no big deal. Overall I liked him and he helped me with the few things I needed. The guy at the front desk was good.  It does seem to be an old place but I didn't care about that.  If you want a luxury place this isn't it.  But if you want a simple, affordable, convenient place then I think it is quite good.  Parking is super convenient.  I had a good stay, have stayed here before and would do so again.  I like the place. It has character.  I like it a lot!  Parts of my initial review were flagged for review.  I felt like my original review would have been more helpful to any reviewer but I was censored.

close to shopping and food.  Excellent external security lights.  On a small main road so it is a bit noisy until about 930Pm then it is fine.  The staff was courteous and attentive.  This is an older property with cosmetic needs inside the rooms.  However, it was clean, stocked with supplies and the bed was great!  If you want no frills at a great price, consider this place.

Wonderful People

I came to see serpent mound and it's out in the middle of no where. When I checked in the staff was great and understood the history of serpent mound.  He told me that the Greystone is the oldest motel in the area.  Owners are remodeling all the rooms, there was a security system and it was a pleasant stay for the price. I enjoyed my stay.

Staff were friendly and understanding. Had a crack/hole in the tub. Walls were dirty. Definitely got what we paid for.
