It might be a little old but very cute and clean.

Quiet property, friendly staff, felt like home away from home.

This hotel is a relic of days gone by. We absolutely loved the vibe!  Good value for the money!  Clean room, easy to navigate parking, etc. I would definitely stay here gain.

Oh my goodness! Best hotel so far. We love to stay at traditional “Mom and Pop” motels. This one was wonderful. From the check in to the room, to check out. Beds were super comfy, pillows were plentiful (we brought our own because usually there are not enough in the smaller motels. THIS was the exception. Everything was very clean and easy to find and understand, the shower had plenty of hot water, which can be an issue in the smaller motels on Pine Ave.We will definitely be staying again, we are in Ocala at least once a month for work and I think we have found our new home away from home!

Nice clean old school motel, 8-9 minute drive to Santos Mountain Bike Trails.

Nicely renovated old-timey motel. Very clean, nice linens, comfortable bed.  No coffee maker or hair dryer,  but none was expected for the price.

Extremely quick check-in, room immaculate, way bigger than I expected, lovely stay.

Traffic noise was loud but the hotel was clean and well maintained and they owner was a very nice man. Overall would definitely stay again.

Much better than your average motel. Long time owners keep the property maintained and are very nice. The room was clean and the bed had a very comfortable pillow top mattress. You will love the bathroom, which shows the excellent tile craftsmanship of a bygone era.

It’s a fairly inexpensive motel outside of Ocala. I wouldn’t say the location is especially great, and the rooms are very basic. But the bed was clean and the bathroom was as well. And it was what I needed at the moment. All that’s really walkable is a gas station across the road. The Wi-Fi is fairly fast at least. And there is a pool but I didn’t go

While dated (I would even say charmingly so), the motel, grounds,  and our room was immaculately clean! They’ve taken great care of this property and it really shows. It is a short drive to stores and places to eat. We stayed here after spending the day at Silver Springs. Will define back when we’re in the area again!

A Hidden Gem

We checked in yesterday and the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly. The room was clean and pleasant. I told him we were here to celebrate our anniversary and he shared that he and his wife have been married for over 40 years. We love the vintage feel with all the modern touches. The bathroom was also clean and the shower had plenty of space. We would stay here again.

Comfortable stay, clean and nice motel

Driving by it looks like a typical mom & pop motel.  But when I pulled in, it was obvious that this place was both clean and manicured with care, including really clean pool.
The owners were both kind and helpful.
The room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable, it had all the expected amenities, tv mounted on the wall with great reception and many channels, fridge was really quiet, AC was also very quiet, road noise was low and disappeared after 11 p.m.
Water was good with excellent pressure.
I rarely give 5 stars, but this motel deserves it!

One suggestion:  They give you ice at the desk, but it had a plastic-tray taste.
So, go across the street and get a bag of ice from Race-Trac, which also has a large variety of hot foods and drinks.

I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is dated, but well kept. Rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and comfortable. There are two chairs in from of each room and with the "L" shape of the hotel, they all essentially face the pool area across the parking lot. The only complaint I have is something completely out of their control. The nearby road is kind of busy, even throughout the night and we got a fair amount of loud road noises. Not as bad as hearing a freeway, but still noticeable. Overall, I'll definitely be staying here again.

Either retro or dated, but still great.

This hotel was a retro delight. The silver princess is definitely your typical L-shaped Florida motel. We booked this room about an hour before we needed to stay. We did check in after 10:00 p.m. there were clear directions by the door since the main check in window was closed and we were able to check in with minimal effort and no hiccups. The room is dated, but that's part of its charm. The Linens were clean and the room didn't give us any issues. We were traveling with kayaks and we're able to park right outside of our hotel room door which allowed us to keep an eye out. Hot water, good pressure and plenty of towels. This hotel is pretty close to the main drag through town so there is quite a bit of vehicle noise but that has nothing to do with anything the hotel can control. Overall it was a fun stay and we would stay again. We needed ice the next day for our coolers, while there was not an ice machine on site the front desk clerk was happy to provide some in bags for us.

No frills, retro fun stay

My husband and I had been up and driving for close to 18 hours. We booked at the Silver Princess Motel because of the ratings. Everything I read was spot on!  Most importantly the bed was super comfortable. The room was clean and even the shower head was new. Not one of those old kind that spray welts into you while you shower 😂. I would recommend highly!

Needed a quick place to stay overnight Silver Princess was excellent for the price. Very clean amenities were perfect for my stay close to everything courteous, but most of all it was spotless. It’s very retro, but checking was easy. Was concerned about the noise, but found it not to be a problem at all.

Great value

We were on our motorcycles and got caught in Ocala in SEVERE thunderstorms.  We were able to get a room at this hidden gem. The rooms were CLEAN and COMFORTABLE  and the owners were INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL.  They gave us extra towels , a  blow dryer , and a USB block because we were completely grounded by the weather. They went above and beyond what the norm is.  If we ever ride through here again we will DEFINITELY be stopping!!
