We stayed at the Country Inn on August1 on our trip from MN to OR. After killing a spider in the tub, my husband slipped and fell in the very slippery tub. You could see through the sheets (where there wasn't stains). Kleenex is thicker than the sheets were. The beds were hard as a rock. Thank goodness we had brought our own pillows! Couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning! Like others, after seeing the room, it was too late to cancel without having to pay (although we thought about it). If this is your only choice, sleep in your car!

Worst place I've ever stayed!

Didn't get any sleep dirty mold don't think it has been cleaned in months hair in sink and tub dirty bedding lights burnt out duct tape covering old outlet, and holding up Kleenex box! And to top it off some man banged on the door next to us for for about 4 hr started at 2 am yelling and fighting. Horrible never go back!!!!!!!

Grossssssssss

The only thing good I can say about the Country Inn is the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.  Having previously booked a room, we arrived late on the evening of 7/3.  Asked to visit room before accepting. It was clear the place was falling apart - linoleum was peeling up from the bathroom floor, the tub looked to be 50 years old with ground in dirt, there was no stopper in the drain, the microwave door split so this appliance was probably unsafe to use, the bedspread had a deep blue stain, it took the staff 5 or 6 tries to find a universal remote that worked with the TV, the bathroom door had been kicked in in 2 places, an inside wall had been repaired with unfinished Masonite, the air conditioner while it worked was grungy and possibly emitting unsafe dust particles, and the bed mattress creaked loudly.  Worse of all was the bedding - the pillows had blood stains, the sheets and pillowcases were quite thin and were far from white.  They probably had been washed, but they were beyond cleaning.  

In spite of all this, while we did change rooms once, we decided to stay one night = because we were tied and it was too late to find another place.  The next morning we checked out.  It took over 2 hours for the front desk live in clerk to return from a morning shopping trip so we could cancel our reservation for the next night and get a refund.  We were not the only ones waiting.  Another couple had had the same experience – blood stained pillows, etc. and had slept in their clothes with a towel over each pillow.

While checking in the previous night I asked the resident manager when the Country Inn was in such despair.  She acknowledged things were ‘bad’, but had no authority to fix them.  The owner refused to invest in his property, make any repairs, or seek to clean it up.

Perhaps he will he listen when visited by the Nebraska Public Health Department soon.

Probable Public Health Danger

Dirty RUN FROM THIS PLACE (BED BUGS) we checked in and after 2nd day no hot water then found a bug in my bed. The staff was friendly until this happened !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to post the pictures of the room

this was probably the most basic of all the motels we had stayed in the past 6 weeks,there were alot of very very very loud hispanic guests, trading things out of the back of a VAN which appeared to be car parts ??? if you are planning to just sleep and go,, this is fine but bring your own pillows the ones we had were flat as a pancake,and plan to get up and go else where for breakfast cos this place does not offer any thing but a small coffee maker in the room.
