Tuesday 9/24-Friday 9/27. Conway, NH. Saco River Family Campground. Site 9, backs up to the river, W &  E,  Lg, lovely campground, gravel and sandy sites where we were, shade trees too. Very nice , clean individual bathrooms w showers. The handicap shower was best one of our 2 mon trip so far.  Firewood delivered to us by friendly staff.  The Conestoga rentals looked cute too. Good cellular, never used wi fi.  Lots of big rigs here, little trailers too. Fun playground and lots for kids to do. 
Lots to see and do in the area. Drove to Mt Washington but didnt drive up it( very very overcast w drizzle), took scenic way back then we walked around N Conway, went to Cheesey Louisey for lunch ( fun and different), watched the train leave, went to Bavarian Chocolate store (yum) and just enjoyed the day.  Poured down rain the next day - ran errands, went to library ( work ), and relaxed.  Left next day on bright sun shiny day to drive to VT. We went via Kancamagus Scenic Hwy - highly recommend and be sure and stop along the way at scenic overlooks.

Great Location.  Our second fall trip to NH for hiking & biking.  Campground staff, cleanliness, location A1.  Will surely return here next time we plan a NH get away.  Kudos to Saco River Family Campground.  There are numerous sites to choose from.  We had #68 this year. The weather was perfect for the 8 days we were there...that helps when your camping.

The campground is awesome, so very clean and neat.  the riverfront is as good as the pool, refreshing and clean.  Staff is friendly and helpful. sites are pretty large even by the waterfront.  highly recommend. The grass sites by the pool area are very large. The pool is beautiful, lots of seating for all to use.

A fun-filled very clean and safe campground.  We are not typically campers and we were so impressed with how clean all the facilities were and how secure we felt.  The daily activities were a lot of fun for the children.  A wonderful family experience.  

Stayed at the park with 32 other RV's for 4 days.  Roads are paved, sites are spacious with many pull-through, facilities are new, and there are plenty of activities for the kids!  Group area features a covered pavilion for gatherings.  Sites are 4-way (water, sewer, 15/30/50 electric, and cable.  Rental cabins are new.  Pool is new!  Fully stocked store.  They even have sites with covered dog pens!  This park is amazing!      

We have been repeat leaf peepers for many years. And every time it's like coming home to the Saco River Campground. This year we were able to use the newly built sites for the first time, and we were thrilled: spacious, perfect infrastructure (hook-ups, grill, gravel). The reception is very friendly, professional and customer-oriented. We are already looking forward to the next time.

This is my second trip this season and both times going they were incredible from check in, to all the miscellaneous stop ins, to my son and niece going in and out (likely being annoying haha) they were great.  The name "family" is 100% true.  You feel very welcome from the campers and you feel safe letting your kids go play. Incredible environment and so worth it! Will be going multiple times again next season!

Absolutely love this campground.  It may not have all the amenities of Jellystone in Glen, but it has a wonderful location (right next to the outlets) and we’ll maintained sites.

What makes this place outstanding is the customer service.  The ladies at the the store and office areas always have a big smile and are willing to help.

They added a new heated salt water pool and splash pad for this year which certainly made the kids happy.  Apparently there is a restaurant going in above as well which is kind of neat for a campground.  

The only thing I’d ask is that they add more deluxe full hookup riverfront spots.  They have about 6-7 and they book up quick on holidays.

We are old retired folks but we had a great two night stay here. Looks like they are adding new facilities and activities. Kids riding bikes everywhere, heading to the river for swimming or tubing. Very clean and well maintained. Security is excellent with dated access. If I was a kid I'd want to stay here all summer. So many activities.

We have camped here twice, and it wont the last time, a wonderful campground.
Steps away from the Saco river swimming and fun. Very nice, clean camp sites. Friendly staff, convenient location in the Saco area.

Great Location - Perfect Campground

Beautiful place on the Saco

This was our first visit to this campground.  We stayed from Sunday-Tuesday --place was close to or at capacity and filled with all kinds of people!  This place is definitely "in demand"!! From families with littles to older folks just chillin' and everything in-between.  Check in/out was quick and easy with very helpful and friendly staff.  Half of us stayed in my son's "Schoolie" bus which is 40 feet long on site 76.  Totally wide and  long enough with plenty of space to spare.  The other half of us pitched a tent on E2 which was such a nice spot across from the duck pond.  My only complaint from that spot would be the noise from Rt. 16, which is no fault of the campground.... the water feature in the duck pond def helps dampen the traffic noise a bit and was much appreciated!  Bathrooms were spacious and clean.  They installed some new ones that are just beautiful.  Pool was soo nice, new, and clean-- just very very busy with lots of kiddos.  If you are looking for quieter pool hours, the earlier the better is my recommendation.  The pool is a bit of a haul depending on exactly which site you are staying in bc there are minimal "cut throughs".  Bringing a bike or renting a golf cart will help if you have issues with walking so much--the place is really big!  We brought our own tubes and rented one extra to tube the very swift river which was so much fun!  I recommend water shoes or crocs to save your feet.  We will def return to this place again.  One tip (from one camper to another)--Say "hello" and smile to your fellow 'campers' as you visit.  It really doesn't take much effort and can mean the world to someone :-).

Amazing family campground

This place seems to have two areas:  one with kids and close to the river and one with large sites and dogs but fewer families and kids (quieter).
The sites near the river were small and things were tighter but this is where the action was. The areas away from the river were new (last couple-years) .  The sites were large and fairly flat and had full service.  
My only complaint is that while internet is available almost everywhere,  we never really got connected because the “pipe” was so small considering the demand.
The site we had looked level but was not which is disappointing since the sites are so new.
There is plenty to do at the campground and in the surrounding areas.
Love this campground and will be back, it does not feel like you are so close to downtown North Conway.
Hope they fix the internet and the pool (closed and under construction).
