The room we stayed in was beautifully appointed, with period details lovingly incorporated throughout the property. Heidi is an EPIC, classic, New England Innkeeper. Heidi cares deeply about her guests' experience and she goes waaaaay above and beyond to make sure you are happy, comfortable and welcome. We felt more relaxed than we had in years! Everything fun and interesting in Newport is just a few minutes away by foot or car. The breakfast was wildly delicious and the view from the third floor breakfast room is breathtaking! If you would like to be welcomed, relaxed and enjoy an incredible, classic New England inn experience, look no further than the Artful Lodger.
