The Inn at Whiteface

The Inn at Whiteface was so welcoming to my friends and I during our ski trip. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we felt at home and the Inn itself is quite cozy. Check out the bar & restaurant "Rudy's" thats down the street! They have great live music, pool tables, a bunch of locals and generally amazing energy! I will be back to both places!

We were looking for our weekend getaway and we came across the Inn at Whiteface. We are so happy that we did, Ingrid is an amazing host. She is very helpful with places to visit or grabbing a bite to eat. The view from our room was amazing!! We could see the gondolas going up Whiteface Mountain. We loved spending time chatting with Ingrid and her little dog Maggie. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels etc. Very Adirondack, homey feeling. We felt like Ingrid was a member of our family, she makes her guest feel right at home. She made breakfast every morning, the coffee was always fresh and hot. We definitely found our little gem of 1 of our favorite places to stay. We will definitely be coming back next year to visit Ingrid.

We spent one day and night at this hotel. Beautiful view of the Whiteface  mountains. Very home like atmosphere. Nice rooms with everything you need. Owner of the place very nice and helpful. Lots of toys for kids to play with. My 2 and 4 year old had a blast there. Huge living room with tables board games tv etc. I would definitely recommend it and come back there again.

The Inn at Whiteface is a special place. Ingrid makes you feel at home as soon as you get there. It feels more like you are staying in her house, rather than a hotel. She keeps the place clean and cozy. Magnificent views of Whiteface Mountain from the rear rooms. You will enjoy your stay here.

I stayed at The Inn at Whiteface with my family and we all agreed that it was an amazing place to stay. The house is big, cozy and has a homely atmosphere – thanks to Ingrid, the owner, who likes to talk to her guests, makes delicious french toast (the american way) and has some good recommendations for what to experience in the area. The house has a big garden and a beautiful mountain view. You can easily go to Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid area, Lake Saranac area and lots of hiking tracks from here.

We loved staying in the fishing room for the night. It was clean, homey and comfortable. In the morning we woke up had a good breakfast and made the 2 minute drive to Whiteface.

The inn is very charming and location is perfect. Whiteface mountain is just around the corner. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is equipped with everything that you might need (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels). You can also leave your ski equipment to dry in the lobby, which was very convenient. The hostess, Ingrid, made our stay even better. We loved spending time with her and her little dog, Maggie. Every morning Ingrid would make pancakes and scrambled eggs (extra charge) for us, which was perfect before heading out to the slopes. If you don’t care for hot breakfast there are plenty of other food choices with no charge. Thank you, Ingrid, for making us feel so welcome. My family can’t wait to come back.

This inn is located in a beautiful spot at the base of Whiteface Mountain. It is such a warm, welcoming and homey place. Ingrid, the innkeeper, is very generous with her time (and food!) and is a great host. The inn itself is rustic and charming. The view from our room was just stunning. Thank you, Ingrid, for a lovely weekend. 

Extremely close to Whiteface Mtn - walking distance.  Very clean and comfortable.  Felt like home.  Ingrid, the host was very pleasant and welcoming.   I will definitely be going back to stay there

Couldn't Have Had A Better Stay.

Cutest Place Ever

Great family vacation! A toy corner for young children. Lots of games for friendly competition. Toys and towels for the local beach. It felt like home. A little faded but clean and comfortable. Great view. The owner is very accommodating and felt like visiting a favorite aunt. No a/c but fans brought the cool mountain air in. Country cute decorations

The property's view of Whiteface Mtn. is stunning.  Ingrid the Innkeeper is a lovely woman, helpful and friendly.  I left my shoes there, she emailed me right away offering to send them back. I had lost my drivers license and she was up early the next morning searching online for the best way to get a replacement.  For anyone looking for a quiet, clean, homey Adirondack spot, look no further.

excellent location

Friendliest hosts ever! Hotels.com had messed up our reservation.  We arrived late during peak season.  There were no other hotels with availability in the area. Owner let us sleep in her living room.  She brought in sheets for the couch and a rollaway bed.  She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed for breakfast which was delicious! There were a lot of repeat guests, so we are not alone thinking this is a great place!!! We will be back!!!

We had a fantastic time at the Inn at Whiteface. The innkeeper was so warm, friendly and accommodating. She made a birthday cake for my daughter and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we could want. The room was very comfortable and had a beautiful view of Whiteface. The Inn is very close to the mountain. Breakfast was outstanding! So much food! Great place to stay!
