My girlfriend and I just recently spent a weekend at the Bowery hotel to celebrate our birthdays. First of all the hotel is simply amazingly well done. The esthetic is very old school New York and very romantic. The rooms are very well designed and have lots of beautiful details (and a pretty awesome mini bar). The lobby has a great vibe and would recommend trying Gemma’s delicious food there as it is a privilege allotted to guests only. Yet above just having a beautiful hotel and great restaurant, the Bowery stands out in my experience of staying at other hotels through its incredible service. We entered our room to a cake with candles, balloons, and a bottle of prosecco on ice which the lobby helped coordinate with my family much to our surprise. It made the experience incredibly special and memorable. There was even a handwritten note next to the cake that I assume the staff transcribed from an email from my parents. Moreover, the staff clearly love what they do and always greet you with a smile. Highly recommend the hotel for a special and unique NYC stay. Will be returning.
