Located right between the West Village and Chelsea, it is an amazing area to call home. The staff at The Jane Hotel were all very friendly and helpful. We were able to keep our luggage at the front desk after check out, to allow us an easier last day in the city. The room, while very small, was pleasant and clean. It utilized an energy saving stick key fob for entry and electricity, and the bathroom was clean. The shower wasn’t quite hot enough, and the hallway to reach the bathroom was cluttered with boxes, but the hotel and restaurant next door share an elevator, and I understood it.Mostly, I loved the location and the staff were friendly, and I felt safe and clean, so I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit NYC.It’s only a few minutes walk to Starbucks Reserve Roastery, which is a must-see. And Little Island park, and the High Line. Just a great area.
