Customer service - none. If, you enjoy paying for a service where you have to send a 100 emails and call a number that no one ever picks up, then this is the place for you. I have tried contacting this "private residence" from the time I booked. If, you have to follow up with a company so many times, then it really is not a service, but a super inconvenience.I cancelled my reservations and would not recommend booking with them at all. It is very clear that this place is indeed "self catering".

Do not waste your time.

As a seasoned business traveler there is nothing worse, especially after a long flight to be confronted with an over the top check in process requiring one to part with more information than is really required, and then the huge disappointment of an unclean room. 

In the case of The Pina, it was marketed to me as a 4 star establishment. The pictures displayed on Travelocity did make it look like a 4 star room. Unfortunately on arrival, I realized it was not the case.

The check in required that you provide information prior to arrival and upon arrival. You can only check in after 5.30pm. Guests are required to meet a greeter at a local coffee shop. The person then escorts you to the room. 

The room was clearly vacated by the person who until that day lived in the room. I must warn anyone looking into this unit, to be aware of what I found. I took pictures and can provide this as evidence. No one should need to be exposed to this; especially when you believe that this is a 4 star establishment. 

The bedding (sheets and pillows) was certainly used and not washed. I suspect the bed was just made up and left over from a previous guest or by the person who vacated the unit. I cannot start to explain how horrifying it is to find human stains, spots, fluff and hairs in the sheets.

The bath water drainage was filled with hair and left over soap pieces. The bathroom had not been cleaned.

The microwave, stove top, stove, refrigerator have not been cleaned for some time. Clearly someone left in a hurry and the unit was left as is.

Extensive scuff marks on most of the walls.

Drawers and cupboards have not been cleaned. Candy wrappers, ear buds and dust balls were left in the drawers and under the sleeper bed.

The sleeper bed had dirt marks and stains everywhere. One can only wonder what those were.

The washing machine still had detergent/fabric softner in it, and has not been cleaned either.

The towels can best be described as paper thin, washed out and again, I would not have my skin be touched by the unwashed towels.

There was no toilet paper in the unit. When I asked where I could find toilet paper, I was informed that I should go buy it myself!

I honestly cannot believe what I found. It is simply impossible to think that Travelocity and other booking sites can be allowed to present the public with such false advertising and promises by a provider. 

This is not a four star establishment, not even close. Do not be fooled into making a reservation at The Pina based on the false advertising provided by them. The pictures online and in the marketing materials is a lie. 

Also, be aware that the provider of The Pina, Criteria Reservations requires information that if leaked can create a serious breach of your personal and credit card information. I asked my credit card issuer to rather cancel my card and re-issue a new card, as my concern is that this company cannot be trusted. 

Bottomline: AVOID.
