Decent room and bathroom! A lot of outlets! Mini fridge and a tv! No microwave in the room but there’s one in the lobby if you don’t mind the elevator trip. Also be ready to leave a refundable deposit of $60 but you gotta remember to get it back in the morning! Other than that the stay is decent!

I found this hotel to be perfect for my4-day stay. It is located on a street of car repair shops. So not the type place you stroll around. The main street is about 4-5 blocks up through a older neighborhood.The inside of the hotel seems to fully refurb. The elevator looks really nice and worked well my whole stay. The $60 cash deposit was a slight inconvenience, but they have ATM in the lobby ($3.00 fee) if you don't have it. But the room rates for the hotel were so low still. My room on the top floor (3rd) was small, clean and comfortable, just what I was looking for. Wifi was pretty good and stable. My room faced the street which was great for sunlight, but a bit of noise b4 too late. The batroom fixtures appeared new and very nice. The queen bed fit fine with room to walk on either side. Surprisingly, the mini frig was very helpful. The microwave and icemaker are in the 1st floor lobby.My suggestion would be to add dimmers to the 3 ceiling lights, put a shelf or two and some hooks to hang thing, I had to use the shower curtain rod to hang clothes and leave everthing in my suitcase.

The hotel was very clean and smelled really good!!!! The room was super tiny! Very very small and no microwave.

Stylish, however floors need to be CARPETED to help absorb sound. Guest T.V. and phone conversations are CLEARLY HEARD even two or three doors away from your room. Microwaves should be in each room. The hotel is in a good location with minimal foot traffic. In VERY COLD weather a heavier BLANKET or COMFORTER is needed for the bed. Doors need SEALS around the outer edges. Windows need SAFETY BARS to prevent possible falls.

Monti’s Hall Review

Needed a low cost no frills place outside LGA

The picture doesn't do this hotel justice. It looks a little spooky but its nicer than it looks online. If you're looking for a short, affordable overnight stay near Fordham University  this hotel might fit the bill. I'm from Boston, MA so not really familiar with area. It's clean, quiet, safe, and bare minimum needed if you need a place to sleep and shower.  The manager was very nice. Street parking only but its a mostly residential area so again, safe.  It was a lovely surprise and I would stay here again.

Service was okay but need microwave to warm up my coffee  not one  microwave for everyone.

I like because of the staff and the quiet atmosphere, but last time the shower head had a leak, we notified about it. Had been 3 months since then, and now is even worse than before, almost not pressure at all taking a shower was trying. Other then that at always a nice place to stay.

The external appearance of the hotel looks regular and not much that draws you in; however, internally, the rooms look really nice! They're small, cozy and it has a modern style.

Decent Stay!

Staff were attendant and helpful when needed for minor issues (locked bathroom door directions to stores etc.). Could use some flowers to brighten up the interior but overall one of the few places I felt safe staying at during these times!
