Want to shut out Ms Dorothy for making checkin welcoming. Room was great, ice cold ac, clean, basic room. Put ear plugs in because people everywhere dont care that motels are for everyone to sleep.

A good experience other than the cockroaches in the bathroom coming out of the wall but I took care of it

Booked this motel for a cheaper night on a recent fly drive and it didn't disappoint. Close to the Carlsbad Caverns NP and near to lots of restaurants, bars in Carlsbad itself.  Felt safe and the rooms were clean and beds comfy.  No tea/coffee in the room but available at reception. Friendly staff.

The property is neat and easy to find. Clean and comfy with great amenities and affordable rates. Perfect for a place to rest up on a long road trip.

Bed and pillows very comfortable, spacious bathroom.

They have the best staff, always welcome people with open arms never snooty and housekeeping is on point. Not the best rooms but definitely the best people you could ever be around in Carlsbad

Had a great room but the swimming pool was green and nasty would have liked to go swimming but not possible

Property Needs some updates but overall a good stay, no complaints here.

We stayed here for 2 reasons, pool and smoking rooms. We got a smoking room, but the pool, however,  was closed for the season. I understand that it is fall, but in this region it stays hot until November. So needless to say i was disappointed. Both days we were there it was 95°. Asbfor our room. It was a little small for a king size bed. The window curtain had a big rip in it. The shower curtain wasn't long enough, so water got everywhere. The bathroom door was coming off the top hinge, so you had to lift up the door to close it. The bed was great and had new linen so that was nice and the air conditioner worked great. The staff was friendly and gave me what i needed when asked with a smile. Its a budget hotel and you get what you pay for.

Decent value.  Quiet, reasonably comfortable.  Good room service and amazing evidence of caring about a customer.  A couple of hours after we checked out, we realized that we were missing something. After searching for it among our things, we called and asked if we had left it in our room.  We described where it might have fallen out of view. Housekeeping said they had not found anything but someone went back and checked. It wasn’t there, but they sent a text indicating that they couldn’t find it.  We later found it under the driver seat of our pickup.  That was excellent service — friendly and sincere, not reluctant.

Great customer service

I didnt get the name but the lady at front desk was really nice I asked for a riom dwn stairs due to my daughter in law being pregnant and she nicely changed it for us even though the motel was full and for the price it is ok, the only thing that it smelled weird when we arrived and i guess someone was smoking in some other room and smelled all the way to our room, other than that ok just stayed for the weekend I bought some lysol and it didn't smell no more

The bad- they gave us a key to a room already occupied. Luckily they were not in it. Reading reviews of hotels out this direction, it appears this is a common thing. There was an old avocado in the refrigerator. An d in the morning I did see one little critter crawling on the floor.
The good- the price, the location to the caverns, comfortable beds.  The good outdated the bad and for the price I would stay again.

Nice stay

Stayed passing though, got there probably around midnight. They do not have a late night check in discount lol. The receptionist was nice. Overall it is what you would expect out of a Motel 6, not the best, not the worst. The room was pretty clean, restroom was clean. Outside wasn't the nicest, but it is a Motel 6 so. Pricey for a night, but everything in the area is really expensive. Apparently the oil boom in the state has been making it harder to find places to stay.

It is what it is

My adopted father and I spent the night on Christmas Day at Motel 6. We had reservations to see Christmas on the Pecos. We arrived early so I didn't think our room would be ready. Merry Christmas too me, it was!  The check in was quick as they had my reservation. The room was a modern one, clean and everything worked. The property was well maintained. The groundskeeper was even working on Christmas Day keeping trash cans empty and area picked up. There are several restaurants close by.

This is about the best you can get with a Motel 6. Biggest drawback is proximity to food options. Would stay here again

This motel is close to Carlsbad and they accommodated my family and myself in such a short notice. Friendly staff.
