As I went in the room, ants were all in the entrance way. I went to turn on the air conditioner, lifted the little control door up, it was full of food crumbs and ants. The carpet was filthy, the sheets were stained, the bathroom had a broken towel holder and the corners of the floor looked like bugs were having a party. The face clothes and towels were a dingy grey. I sprayed a whole can of microban on everything...it didn't make a difference, I had to get out of there.
I grabbed my things and left...I was out $80 +/- ....but I didn't want to end up with bedbugs too! I didn't see any but if you read other reviews, they live there too...
DO NOT STAY THERE...this place is GROSS!

Disgusting

We booked three nights in mid Oct 2018.  When we got there the dresser drawers had debris in them, shelves had visible dust, and the floor was not thoroughly cleaned.  We complained and asked for our remaining two nights of money back. The attendant said she could probably do that, so we found somewhere else to stay for the rest of our trip,  We called 5 times over the next month to try to get our money.  No response as of mid Jan 2019.  That's a big disappointment since my wife grew up a block away from the hotel.  It didn't use to be like this, poor management.

Poor choice

We had three rooms, since several family members were in the Garden Spot Marathon.  We saw lots of ants in the rooms,  at least one of the rooms did not have a mini fridge,  and there was no breakfast.  My mother said it was the worst place she had ever stayed.  There wasn't even enough room in the bathroom for her to put her toiletry bag, only a 3" shelf above the sink.  There weren't any clothing hooks and with all the ants, putting clothes on the floor was not an option.  At least we did not have roaches or bedbugs.

Wanted to leave, but everything was booked

42 Degrees.  Our room didn't have hot water, or heat in the bathroom. This owner continues to rent these dilapidated rooms, knowing of these conditions. The manager told us she contacted the owner about our issue;  the response we received was, the owner will not do anything about this. This motel should be closed!

i booked this motel through booking.com which is owned by priceline. I and my wife got the worst case of bed bug bites you can imagine. booking.com is worthless  no help contacted price line all you deal with is 3rd world phone rooms. Finally was offered 20 euros these people don.t know what country your in. I have spent hundreds of dollars in doctor fees and emergency room fees. It is 21 days since our stay and still being treated for bed bug bites. Threw  away our luggage and cloths. of course booking.com nor priceline will do anything. I have contacted the lancaster county health dept. If you don,t want to spend hundreds of dollars in doctor fees find somewhere else.. after the fact i found out other guest found bed bugs. you would think to save there reputation booking.com or priceline would step up to the plate but no. if you don.t believe read the reviews. I am on a fixed income and this bed bug infested motel stole our money. Seniors be ware  joe

Not the best around, bare minimum (2 beds, mini fridge, bathroom, tv) and not extremely clean. Cobwebs in ceiling corners. But, aside from the few cob webs, it's very country and you experience a lot from the main St of New Holland.

Quaint, Country

At the beginning of November, four nights in room 217, we slept very quietly and well. The owner's photos are honest and you know quite well what to expect. A fashionable design doesn't have to be bad, quite the contrary, we've learned it here again. The noises are perfectly contained, you can ensure natural air flow, and the sunlight and heat are very well dampened, and even without curtains you're private. The price for the high quality of sleep in a so-called historic building (70s..?) is to choose a no-time-safe bathroom.
