Colonial Motel Suites

My family and I stayed at this property from the 5th till the 7th of September and it was great! We stayed in a two bedroom unit which had 2 closed bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen which gave us plenty of room to move around. It was myself, my husband, my sister and my two children (ages 2&4) and we were comfortable. Now let’s be honest, this is a typical beachside Motel with a hint of 80’s still attached to it. However, it was CLEAN, well maintained and has an AMAZIN LOCATION!!! This is less than block away from the beach and the strip where you will find all you need. I mean it’s closer to go back to you room to go the bathroom than to go to the public area’s! lol Now, the bathrooms are small and it has only a stand up shower (not so comfortable to bathe children) but then again, how long do you shower for??? Get it wash, get out! Lol. Hey don’t expect 5* luxury, you are not only at the wrong place but at the wrong destination!!! (look around this place is built with motels). It has a large terrace right by our room with picnic table and chairs where my sister, my husband and myself enjoyed a little drink late night while the kids were sound asleep… The staff was great! I met Russ and his lovely wife and they were more than pleasant. When we first arrived, we had no hot water and I went to see them and by the time I headed back to the room, it was fixed! I asked for directions to go shopping and Russ explained not only how to get there but also suggested other locations in order to avoid traffic! Obviously, we listened to him and he was right!!! Here is brief description of this place: -typical motel (yes, the regular beachside, no luxury, 80’s style motel like everyone else in the area) -CLEAN!!!! (except for under the beds – little dust). -quite affordable -well maintained (ok little minor adjustment needed in the shower’s) -AMAZING LOCATION!!! -friendly staff -quiet & peaceful In resume, if you are looking for a place to stay with no frills, that is comfortable, real clean, great location, this is it!!!! I am most definitely returning next year but this time…for 1 week!!!! Thanks again Leo and Company, you were great!!!
