Budget Motor Lodge

Staff was courteous. All kinds of vending munchies to buy. Parked outside my door. Clientele was  normal. Rooms are clean, huge and newly furnished. Stores and restaurants minutes away on foot in your car.  Good stays every time, good price.

Budget hotel, close to shopping and food. One route to Norfolk.

Reasonable clean great location

This motel is not a good area to stay. There are alot of people living in the motel that have large families staying in one room. It's congested and as very little parking availability. The cleaning staff is horrible. Plus it's on a busy traffic area for cars, prostitution, and paraphernalia. I didn't even feel safe for our car to be parked there.

Not a good area

This place hand stink bugs and spiders all over their rooms. Some alone some dead. I had to inspect three rooms before I could settle for one that was somewhat bug free. The rooms are gross, there are holes in the walls. The security latch on the doors where non-existent. The internet did not work at all so I was disconnected from the world. Horrible horrible horrible! Never again!

Never Again

I was renting a room for a week for family,  Paid for room, went into room, looked under the sheets around the mattress edge and YES There were BEDBUGS!!!! Went back to office for a refund to my credit card, the guy TRIED to charge me a 25.00 charge!
I told him- you had better give me back my full amount paid (325.00) and do it right now!
I will also be letting the health dept know about this, also told the guy at the desk.  He stated the exterminator comes once a month.  I think they need to come a bit more often!
There is also alot of "activity" in and out of this place and I was only there 10 min!

BEDBUGS!

Rude staff,filthy room,outdated television,drug infested,and should be condemned.After paying and checking in,I entered the room and was shocked,I could not believe the condition of that room.So I stayed for about 10 minutes,loaded my travel bag back into my car,returned their door key,and drove back to North Carolina.I was very disappointed.

Terrible,is an understatement!

When I got there they said it was no rims available like I didn’t book in advance

This is a terrible, terrible hotel.  Nothing in the hotel was clean, and the bathroom was a horror show.  The area is sketchy/possibly unsafe.  We turned around and left within 10 minutes of arriving, even though it was late at night and there were no other hotels available within a 2 hour drive.

STAY AWAY.

Do not waste your money. Sheets where stained! Asked for them to be changed and the new sheets had holes in them. The bed was disgusting! People where living at the hotel not in a friendly neighborhood at all! Charged us one night because we wanted to cancel!!!!!
