The Tals were wonderful. Rafael was a very "homey" chef, happy to make more for you, mix it up, alter whatever recipe, or talk to you about what he made. They offered wonderful conversation, especially about how they share the land with the wildlife and plant enough food for themselves and the deer. The property itself is fun and quiet - tucked away somewhat in an area that's already tucked away. It's close to a lot of interesting sites nearby, which is always nice. The rooms were updated, but still showed their "vintage." No problems sleeping or maintaining temperature, which is usually the case with these really old buildings. I'd definitely recommend visiting.
