Spur of the moment trip had us staying here on a Saturday night. The rooms are basic and yes this is an older motel . The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful and one feels secure here. Plus you can walk anywhere and never need to drive. Most places require a 3 night minimum. We only stayed 1 and paid a little more than I am guessing that most pay. With the location and security, it was worth it
