nice remodeled rooms I was scared by seeing reviews but when I visited the place totally surprised, I have nice jucuzzi room enjoyed it.  outdoor pool is great nice continental breakfast better them all other hotels in the town   great!

Ok but the rooms were bad and you could hear anything from other rooms. No breakfast and it was ok. Not sure if I'd stay here again but ya, better to find something else.

Location was good that's about it

Instead of Red Carpet, this place should be called Stained Carpet or Gross Carpet. To begin with, the carpet in the lobby was covered in large stains. Maybe we could have overlooked the boarded up windows if it wasn't for everything else.  

When we entered our room,  it was too dark to see.  There was only one light and it wasn't connected to a switch.  This was probably intentional so we wouldn't see how disgusting the place was. Right away,  we asked the front desk for another lamp. It was old and rusty, but worked. Too bad we could see the room now!  

The carpet had fresh stains near the beds that were most likely bodily fluids based on the color and location. The bed was made but with stained dirty sheets. We slept in our clothes to avoid touching these sheets any more than necessary. 

We also asked for a TV remote that worked, blankets, and clean towels, but we were told yes, yes, and no can do. But in the end we didn't get any of these. I think the girl at the desk only pretended to call housekeeping, because clearly there hasn't been any housekeeping in years. 

The last straw was when I spotted the live bed bug. We packed up and left immediately. This is absolutely the WORST place I have ever stayed.  We should've slept in the car!

Sleep in your car or keep driving

Seriously!  I live in Muncie and I would advise you to sleep on street before staying here. This is truly nothing but a druggie flop house. New people keep buying it and say they will fix it up, but as long as they keep renting weekly to druggies, it's not going to happen. Unfortunately there is not even a barely decent place to stay on the South side town.  Hop on the bypass and go to McGalliard. You will find hotels in all price ranges. 


Don't stay here

The place is ran by people that obviously don't care about their business. You're paying $65 for something that's basically ran down. The bathroom was completely disgusting and smelled like either someone sexually relieved themselves everywhere or where cooking drugs. Regardless, it was very disturbing. There were spots all over the sheets. The remote didn't work. They claimed there was Internet, but there wasn't.  I wouldn't recommend going there, ever.

Worst experience ever, next to best way inn, (right down the street). Just finished taking pictures of All the bed bug bites, and will be reporting this motel/hotel in he morning. My boss flew in from California to purchase houses nearby...poor guy, he has half the bites i have, and i feel sorry for him. The first room didn't have heat, so we were finally moved upstairs with no towels, wash cloths, etc...t.v had no remote. Carpet was never swept. I did get to watch a pimp kick back in the lounge area while I tried to retrieve my money out of a broken vending machine . This place not only needs upgraded, it needs half the se, "live-ins", thrown out, dealing in what hy were dealing in. Scary place to stay.The girls and staff were courteous, but i'm sorry, i gotta try to shut you folks down.
