GROSS!!!  DIRTY,  BED BUGS!!  We stayed in October for WSU Homecoming and November for WSU Dad's Weekend.  We will NEVER stay here again nor do we recommend friends or family to stay here.  We made hotel reservations a year in advance on Expedia in the $60-$70 range.  Five months prior to checking in, I received a call from Idaho Inn telling me that I need to pay three times the rate on Expedia.  I argued with Idaho Inn telling them this is false advertising and I called Expedia.  Expedia agreed to pay the difference in price. I would only be responsible for paying my original hotel price.  In October, we checked in and battled with the hotel front desk on the hotel rate.  I had to RE EXPLAIN that Expedia would pay the difference in price.  In November we stayed again for Dad's Weekend.  Idaho Inn decided to CANCEL my reservation and was told that Expedia was going to RELOCATE me to another hotel.  Once again I called Expedia to complain.  Because it's Dad's Weekend...the entire area of Pullman and Moscow is SOLD OUT with nowhere to stay.    Idaho Inn admitted to their cancellation  and gave us our room.  Next morning we found BED BUGS in our beds!  Showed hotel management pictures!  They did not charge us for the stay and said they would spray the room.  We did not feel comfortable staying another night in this DIRTY hotel.  Our 2 night stay ended up being 1 night  We left Moscow and drove to Moses Lake for the night.  Idaho Inn should pay for our stay in Moses Lake.  It's the least they can do!!                   

DO NOT STAY HERE!!   BED BUG HEAVEN and they advertise FALSE HOTEL RATES!!

Booked this hotel 9 months ago on Expedia for Dad’s weekend.  Husband checked in today and was told Expedia made a “mistake” and really they are going to charge us DOUBLE what we booked for!  What a scam.  Do NOT stay here!  Many others are saying this same thing happened to them this weekend.

Stay far away, they will book you at a low rate and then charge you WAY more when you arrive and have nowhere else to go

I stayed one night at the Idaho Inn to help move my daughter into WSU.  The hotel needs extensive remodeling.  The front desk folks were nice, but could not get us 3 room keys that worked.  The room itself had a bathroom that looked heavily worn.   The tub was cracking, the fixtures had rust on them.  The location is great, about 15 minute drive from WSU, and we didnt have many choices since it was WSU move in weekend.  Next year we will plan ahead.

Kinda rough

After reading the reviews, I had very low expectations. Instead, the room was comfortable, clean, and the largest room I've had with "cheap" hotels. Great value. Is it luxurious? No- it's the best you could expect for a cheap hotel. If you aren't a snob, this hotel is great.

Underrated

I just received notice that a reservation that I made and PAID for in February, that is scheduled for October 18, 2019, had a glitch in the system and the rate that I paid through Expedia will not be honored and the rate is now three times the amount.  This room was already booked and paid for, therefore, reserved at THAT rate which I paid.  Now we are two months later after the reservation was made and I am being told there are no rooms available and I have to re-book it.  This is absurd and extremely poor customer service.  There is a room connected to my PAID reservation, so why can’t the hotel accept the glitch and the paid room for the rate listed?  Is it because it is a busy weekend and you want to get more money per room?  Reviews of this poor customer service will be left on every travel site possible.  You have lost a company and so has Expedia for not standing up to your lack of customer service.

Worst Customer Service Ever!

From the time we parked our car we knew we were in trouble.  The parking lot had not been plowed and was a giant sheet of ice.  The lobby was freezing at 54 degrees.... really people?  They put us in the room furthest from the lobby (walking on the ice in the snow).  

Now... the room itself; OLD doesn't even begin to cover it!  I have photos!  The ceiling in the bathroom looked ready to fall in; the sink in the bathroom was a rusty mess; even the tissue holder was nothing but RUST!!!! The sink in the kitchen had a ring that looked like it had been there for 10 years!  

They were nice enough to provide a fairly new looking  coffee pot in the room complete with cups, stirrers, etc. however there was NO coffee!!!  Needless to say, any money paid for this room was a waste.  

We stayed there so that I could be close to the hospital for a 5am surgery; thinking to reduce stress, get more sleep....  BIG MISTAKE!

Penicillin Shot Please????

The front desk clerks were friendly and competent and tried to accommodate my 1st floor request.   I double-checked about leaving my car there, and was told no, which defeated my purpose in staying in a cheaper hotel.  They have no shuttle.  The hotel is along the Moscow-Pullman Highway so there is a lot of traffic.  The rooms have kitchens.

No elevator and don't try leaving your car there when you fly

We had to stay here as it was the last room anywhere near Pullman for move in weekend and somehow our reservation at Motel 6 was canceled. We arrived at 11pm and entered the "under construction" lobby with harsh fluorescent lights and a desk manager who kept trying to use my driver's license in the credit machine and seemed very confused. There was one king room left for my husband, daughter and me so we had to sleep in the king bed after we attempted to use the bedding items for our daughter's dorm room on the floor and determined that it was so dirty and disgusting that we could not bring ourselves to put her freshly laundered items down even on top of the creepy bedspread from the bed. Everything in the room was old and gross and dingy and the bathroom had rusty fixtures and felt grimy. I would certainly advise camping or sleeping in one's car if The Idaho Inn were the only other option. 
The only way this place stays open is because of all the games and parent weekend visits for both colleges when every other decent hotel is booked.Whoever owns this place either cannot afford to make it decent or they don't care because they make enough money based on supply and demand. Any space in this hotel would make for a fantastic David Lynch filming set - it is lost in time and grimy and kind of creepy.

Sleep in your Car, it would be much better.

The only negative note is the poor breakfast (for standard use but more than enough for Italians) where they do not use the dishes that can be washed... all paper and then they do not recycle... thus producing tons of garbage
