Pecan Tree Inn

We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Pecan Tree Inn, a delightful B&B in Beaufort. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, and the property itself was incredibly relaxing, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The historic charm of the inn added to its allure, making it a perfect getaway. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

The property is so cool.  It is a historic site and has been brought back to reveal has gorgeous it is.  It has all the character with modern touches you could want.  The Blue Room is very comfortable with enough room for two to spend a cozy weekend.  The location is perfect for Beaufort - it's right by the main drag, you can easily walk to shopping, dining, the ferries.  And the hosts are awesome!

The bed was comfortable and it was clean and updated. the front porch was nice to eat breakfast each morning.  The food was excellent !  Very nice and comfortable.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at The Pecan Inn. Hope to come back someday soon.

The property was beautiful with tons of outdoor space and gardens. The location was right in the middle of downtown which was perfect for checking out shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Lovely historic house with friendly owners, great food, and location about 2 minutes walk to the waterfront.  Highly recommend.

The couple that run the bed and breakfast were amazing and attentive, the breakfast was the best ever!!! The room was cozy and so lovely! The gardens on the property were so zen and you really felt like you escaped for a while!!

Such a Great Spot

Amazing home with very friendly owners! House was well cleaned, decorated, and sanitized! Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Location is the best, steps from the water where you can take a ferry over to see the wild horses! Dinner at Aqua, 1 block over and home is directly across from Beaufort Grocery which has great sandwiches and to die for desserts! A 10 star experience! Will be our go to in Beaufort for now on!

Had a one night stay before catching the cedar island ferry to Ocracoke. We stayed in the blue room. It was very clean and supplied well. We had to catch an early ferry and missed breakfast. They provided a great bagged breakfast for us. We were very surprised and appreciative. The grounds are well-kept and lovely.

Great one night stay

My wife and I just spent two nights at the lovely Pecan Tree Inn. From the moment we were greeted we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My wife gushed over the decorations…I was impressed by the incredible breakfasts. The spacious room (with jacuzzi) was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed and fast WiFi. It’s just a minute’s walk from the historic riverfront, and we loved the restaurants recommended by the innkeeper—one just across the street and the other an easy stroll down the river. If you like the full B&B experience with great food and friendly hosts, you can’t go wrong here.

A wonderful stay

It was very clean and quiet. I loved the room with the jacuzzi tub. The inn was centrally located within walking distance of the downtown area and next to the water. The whole experience was absolutely amazing!!!I would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes historical sites and creature comforts.We will definitely be going back.

This B & B is less than one block from the waterfront, right in downtown.  Room was clean and comfortable.  Bed very comfortable.  Bathrooms are small, as to be expected in an older building.  Breakfast was excellent, as was the afternoon tea.  There is free parking (one car per room) which is a plus, as Beaufort has put a charge on every parking space anywhere near the shore!  Only negative: the flat-screen TV in every room is connected only to a video streaming service which does not offer local TV channels, network TV, or a weather channel.  Could have watched endless reruns of "Three's Company" and cooking shows, as well as selected movies, but it would be nice to have the weather available since you're at the beach!

Very comfortable B & B

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Pecan Tree Inn. The home is amazingly beautiful. Walking thru the home you get a feel of what it would have been like to live there back in 1866. Stan and Christine were very welcoming with afternoon snacks and tea. Beautiful garden to walk thru and waterfall/fish pond in the back. Breakfast was tasty!!! Would definite return again for another great weekend!!!

Beautiful History

Very good B&B within a few steps of the main thoroughfare overlooking the water. Building was beautiful and the grounds were perfect to sit outside and relax.  Great breakfast and the proprietor was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Cottage Room. The room itself was beautiful with the only problem being the bathroom. It was extremely small and cramped with a shower stall that gave you little room to turn around and no real shelving to put a cosmetic bag down anywhere. I am not sure if the other rooms had the same issue or just the one we were in. Otherwise, this B&B would have gotten 5 stars with no problem.

My wife and I had an outstanding visit at the Pecan tree Inn. Stan and Christine made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. The Blue Room we stayed in was well decorated and was very comfortable. I just wish we could have stayed at least one more night. O' well. That will be for another trip to Beautiful Beaufort. The garden is a very nice relaxing place after a day of shopping, site seeing, and tours. Perfect.
