What a beautiful location and facility!! Dont bypass this experience.

The property was just gorgeous.  Nestled next to a river and the views were breathtaking.  Just an awesome place to spend a night.  We might just go back to send a few more days before another Alaskan cruise.

Rooms are rustic and quaint, but not quiet. Could hear conversations and all the sounds from next door as if they were above us. The surrounding area is beautiful. The food is good, but expensive. Staff was mostly kind- a few seemed ready for the tourist season to be over. Would try another Princess property.

Very peaceful lodge with onsite dining and cabin like rooms (4 to a building) in the area we were assigned. Each cabin had its own private deck with chairs. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the easy access to short nature trails to take in the Kenai river. Didn’t realize this was part of Princess cruises, but you could see cruise guests getting dropped off. Extremely well run lodge.

I stayed in my different accommodations during my trip. This one was my favorite by far. The room was extremely large, beautiful and very clean. This is a perfect place to rest, relax and totally take it all in. I will definitely book a longer stay the next time I visit Alaska.

Beautiful lodge, with a good restaurant on site. We wnjoyed our one night stay before  going to Exit Glacier.

We are Alaskans and drove down for a nights stay. The lodge is beautiful and our room was located on the hill. Beautiful location

The walking distance to the cabin room could be a challenge for some people, no one offered us a cart.  The room was great! Beautiful!  Very busy place

An excellent place to stay…room was very large with a wood burning stove (wood provided)…Restaurant and lounge had great selections and food was yummy! Beautiful walking trail down to the Kenai river right behind the main lodge. Stay here…you won’t be disappointed 👍

This is a beautiful location. Nice views, good hiking down to the river, or up the hill. Each unit had a fireplace, but we did not have time to use it. If you are looking for a peaceful place with beautiful mountain views, with access to the area activities, this place is hard to beat.  Like everything in Alaska it is pricey, but the quality of this place was tops.

The location is great, a very peaceful area. We loved the rooms--they were very spacious, the beds were comfy, and they had very big windows to look at the beautiful surrounding landscape. Loved the chimney and balcony. Loved walking down to the river with the trail. We did not try their restaurant, but they have a good espresso/breakfast bar that we tried and enjoyed. I Highly recommend it!

What a gem! It’s tucked up along the river with gorg views.  The hotel is smaller than other Princess properties - which a major plus. We had a 2 bedroom with fireplace and it was delightful! Easily fit 5, with pull out couch. We loved the lobby decor and small family vibe. My kids did puzzles with guests and played with lodge dog. Food in restaurant was better here than other properties, we esp loved the bar and grill!  We hiked the easy trail for great views. A little far from Seward if going there, but drive is beautiful and retreating to this lodge was great way to end the day.  Highly recommend. We stayed at other Princess property in Trapper Creek and this one takes the Cake! Simply charming and simply Alaska. Can’t wait to come back.

Splendid for its isolation and remarkable views from the lodge building, the property is great for relaxation among the woods. The cabins do not have the same view but if you’re looking for peace and quiet this property is a good choice. The rooms are spacious, but the bathrooms are basic. Because of its isolation the rooms would benefit greatly with the addition of a small fridge and microwave. Otherwise they come with a coffee maker and ice bucket. The meals at the restaurant and lounge are pretty good, especially if you enjoy a good salad. Housekeeping is by request only, which wasn’t disclosed when we checked in.

The rooms are very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bar restaurant had some really good food at a reasonable price. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only suggestions I have are to replace the old carpeting and do a better cleaning of the ceiling fans which had dust and spider webs on them.

We spent one night here after a miserable experience in Homer. The rooms are huge and very clean!! We loved the option to build a fire in our room even though it was too warm at the time of our visit. We had a delicious dinner out on the patio that overlooks the Kenai river. The food was excellent as well as the service! There is a easy hike down to the river and they will even shuttle you back to the resort if you’re needing assistance back up the hill. This is a beautiful property and cannot wait to return for a longer stay.Orbitz list’s check in time at 3pm but according to the front desk it’s actually 3:30, we were not allowed to check in until 3:30, just an FYI.
