This campground has a lot going for it - nice staff,  clean, quiet, wonderful pool, nice showers, well maintained,  great water pressure at the RV sites, cute amenities for the kids like life-size checkers and chess, close to everything.  I would have rated it five stars but we couldn’t take full advantage of the amenities because of an utterly disgusting caterpillar infestation during our five day stay.  Our site was like the scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indy and Marianne fall into the pit of snakes…only it was caterpillars in our case.  The pool was full of dead caterpillars.  We spent about 45 minutes one night cleaning it ourselves so we could use it. I sat outside at the picnic table for less than five minutes one evening to enjoy the sunset and nice weather and was literally covered in caterpillars within minutes.  I didn’t realize it and went into the camper, there were about 30…up my pantlegs, in my hair.  I’m not squeamish, but this was too much for me and I screamed like a baby along with my kids until we (thought we) found them all and ejected them from the camper.  However, we continued to find caterpillars in the camper, in our beds, caterpillar poo all over anything left outside the camper, and caterpillar carcasses on all our shoes.  Sun Outdoors.  Please spray.  If you spray.  Spray more.   A lot more.  Do something drastic.  Use fire.  Seriously.  It’s really miserable for people who want to be outside.

A billion and one caterpillars

Staff was friendly. Bathrooms, laundry,  and showers were very clean. Mountains all around. Other guests/campers were not as near to you as I’ve experienced at other sites.  You can hear highway noise.  

I Would Stay Here Again

They will rip you off, don't make reservations here had to cancel a week in advance due to RV needed repair, they stole $160. Refused to refund. The woman I spoke with said "we only here to make money". So called can can use up to a year for another reservations. If they are out to make money they don't care about customer service Sun country will treat you badly.

Don't go there 

This was the absolute perfect little cabin! The bathroom was up to date and everything was VERY CLEAN! The pool and hot tub were so nice and the fact that they had washers and dryers was such a wonderful extra! It’s definitely the place to stay!!

Best place to stay in town!!!

The campground is great. We love the layout and all the amenities that they have to offer. Great location to visit Moab, as well as minutes from Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. The customer service from the young lady at the desk and her husband was impeccable. They were both friendly and outgoing. We do have two complaints. First, closing the pool at 8pm after most guests have been hiking or visiting the parks all day is very unreasonable for a campground in the desert. Second, the male and female restrooms and showers were disgusting. The showers need to be pressure washed to remove all of the slime and scale build up from the walls and floors. The bathroom need to be just as awesome as the campground and the customer service but sadly they just pale in comparison.

Great campground but bathrooms need an overhaul.

Terrible! First, so close to neighbors you can not put your canopy out. It would literally hit your neighbors camper. Second, Most sites are buddy sites which is weird if you don’t know that person. Third, we had to walk the campground to find a spot that we could open slides on both sides. We found one but only on the side where there were like 8 sites behind a cabin. My parents stayed in one of the cabins. This too was not a good stay. There coffee pot did not work once they hung it from the wall. There was no place to set the coffee pot with a plug. So they had to hang it where the plug was. We went up to talk to the office at 3:50 and the lady who worked there just looked at us at the door and dove away in the golf cart. They are not suppose to close until 4 so i had to call the emergency line to let them know we had to leave a day early and they said oh well so sorry would not give a refund for one night. Also, unless your camper is small there is no way to park at your site. They have assigned parking for your vehicles. Most of the time someone was parked in the spot they gave us. Lastly I went to take trash a few times and the dumpster was completely full and over flowing. We have been camping for over 10 years and NEVER saw such bad sites.

Terrible sites

The best thing is the close location to the entrance to Arches National Park. Each RV site has a nice concrete sidewalk and concrete picnic table pad, and a short night light at the end of each site. There is an activity area that has life sized chess and checkers for an activity.  There is a dog area and there are lots of poop bag and disposal posts around the park.  The bathrooms/showers are clean and heated, water hot. Shower stalls are nicely tiled and there are 4 hooks for keeping towels and clothes clean and dry (yay!). The only thing to improve is tiling or surfacing the ugly concrete floors in the showers. The only other thing was the price, $79, which is much higher than most RV parks, especially in the off season. We didn't have time to shop around for a better price and I suppose they can get it in such a heavily touristed area but you might want to shop around if price matters to you.

Clean but pricey

This is a property located in the middle of Moab. It is a bit difficult to see the sign from the road, and more difficult still to enter the property with a large RV. Parking of your truck is at the end of the sites, parallel to your trailer. Spots are tight, and parking not ideal, but the location is good if you want to walk Moab in foot one day. There is a second level with tent sites, dog park-but recently flooded, so they no longer park campers there. There is a pool, store, laundry on site which are handy. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful about nearby sites/restaurants.

In the middle of town

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The park is very clean and organized. They are pet friendly and have 3 fenced dog areas. Park is paved and/or gravel so staying in the winter with rain snd snow is not an issue. We will be back. Happy New Year!

Favorite place to stay in Moab.

Super nice campground only 2 mikes from Arches and 3 miles from
Moab.  Tent sites are covered, all sites are level, many cabins, and rental airstreams.  Store isn’t very equipped but they have free tea and coffee.  The laundry had many broken machines and it was always busy.  The closeness to Arches and Canyonlands was the best feature.  The restrooms were clean and spacious.  They had a great dishwashing station.  The pool and hot tub were great after a day of hiking.
