The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only negative i had during my stay was the overwhelmingly strong scent of the carpet cleaner used in the hallway. It was so strong it would butn your nose. I did not smell it anywhere else like that. Only my floor.

We always stay here when coming to Salem. Consistently clean, friendly affordable.

This is a great, clean hotel. Really nice -- like an updated Hampton Inn. Top notch. Thankful they have maintained this hotel so close to the rivers I like to fish!

Very Friendly Staff, kiddos enjoyed the pool while the adults enjoyed the patio.

Very nice hotel, looks like new, but actually remodeled few years ago. Due to the cover, breakfast was very basic.

We had a great stay, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. I know the COVID made it where you couldn’t serve breakfast so I think the price could of been a little better since you did not serve breakfast. But overall we had a great stay and would stay here again! Would recommend to friends!

Great stay!

This is during the pandemic so  I called ahead to ask how they deep cleaned for my visit.  They did as expected.  The room was great.Call ahead !When I was there the pool was closed.  There was no breakfast buffet - but there was muffins and juice or coffee.  I was disappointed there was not more for breakfast.

Covid time period

The breakfast here was amazing and the employee who does the breakfast setup is an assest to this motel. She was so nice and even packed our kids up a couple snacks for the road.  We came into town with a group for a funeral. We had several elementary school aged children who were loud and excited to see eachother.  Despite noise complaints from our neighbors the staff were very kind.  Therr were only like 5 rooms rented so it would have been smart to have moved us or the complainers though.  Haha

Our room had everything we could want:  clean and comfortable, seating for 2 (a desk chair and a reading chair), ample lighting and charging stations, ample counter and shelf space in the bathroom, and a shower dial that's actually readable and actual instructions for the alarm clock.  But the big thing I did not like occurred during the check-in process:  guests are asked to sign an agreement that makes no sense.  I'm not talking about an agreement I don't like; I'm talking about one that is not written in the English language.  The company should fire whomever wrote it and hire a lawyer who can write in plain English that is easily understood by both guests and desk staff.

My family went to Salem for opening Deer weekend. Rooms were clean, lots of pillows. Staff set up breakfast early for the hunters! My daughter loved the pool though I thought it was cold and pushed for staying in hot tub. Their housekeeping process does not lend to early check ins but hotel worth a repeat visit.

Catered to guests

We wanted to stay near our canoe rental for the Current River and we were pleased with this hotel. The bed was a little firm but the room itself was very clean. There was a light post directly outside our window which wasn't ideal, but the pool area was nice and we used the hot tub both nights! For such a small town, would recommend to people traveling through.

Clean hotel!

I had a wonderful 2 nights at Crossroads Inn. The location was convenient. The rooms were comfortable and I loved having the microwave and fridge in my room. The business I was there for required me to pack a lunch each day and the fridge, microwave and mini sink were very handy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating

Nice hotel, nice staff roomy rooms. The beds were very uncomfortable but they had nice pillows.
