We recently stayed at The Fairwind Hotel for a full week from August 12th to August 19th. This was our third stay in three months ( June, July, and August). The rooms are large, spacious, clean, and comfortable. During our most recent stay, we were upgraded to a deluxe king room with a balcony (thank you, Gia R.). Each of our stays was excellent! The location, in the heart of South Beach, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by a multitude of dining and shopping experiences can not be beat! The hotel retains the charm of the Deco period, upgraded with modern amenities to meet the needs of modern travelers. The service we received from Gia R. at the front desk was exemplary! We were warmly greeted each time we passed by or stopped at the desk and Gia went the extra mile to make certain our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel amenities include a large rooftop pool with bar(umbrellas should be added to provide shade), in room safe, balcony, and a refrigerator. The air conditioning kept our room at a perfect temperature. We chose not to receive daily maid service. However, the cleaning staff were always visible and quick to respond to our requests for clean towels and replenishment of supplies. Many thanks again to Gia R. for your professionalism, kindness, and expertise! We hope to return soon to our home away from home in South Beach. Thomas and John
