Great affordable place right on ocean drive. This place is the closest you can get to the beach with an amazing view in the lobby. Lobby is clean with a fridge for food items. The front desk dog is amazing!

Incredible customer service. All the front desk agents were personable, caring and very informed. Chad stood out almost the rest as he had all the party recommendations and was a top notch party host. The location of this place WILL NOT BE TOPPED! I strolled out of the front door everyday and was right in the middle of the action and had my toes in the said within seconds. 
Very clean, safe and being attached to a bar where we were given a few free drinks is always a great perk. Sheesha on the rooftop patio is also a must. I will DEF be back!

I stayed at ocean blue last month. And it was a very nice experience. Josy the lady at the front desk helped us with all the information needed about clubbing and restaurants and Carmen was very helpful the whole time we stayed there. Thank you very much. The place was always clean and they give a nice breakfast.

Each place has its personality and Ocean Blue Hostel is a special place for parties, with an international atmosphere. Music, large terrace, spacious and clean rooms. I loved the bathroom! although it is a bathroom for 12 people and many times you have to wait. The staff was very friendly except the manager, who has a way of treating people incorrectly (it's my point of view). Do not accept constructive criticism, triumph with tension and with words that manipulate reality to your interest, it seems dirty to me. It's cheap, and you can only stay a week. The wifi is the best, its power reaches the beginning of the beach hahaha If you want tranquility look for another Hostel. If you want a party, you're in the middle of it. I prefer healthier party environments, because that attracts people capable of disrespect invading your privacy or opening your suitcase in order to find something to steal. There is place to leave the suitcase but the lockers are small.

The biggest mistake I made was booking this hostel for my spring break. The rooms are filthy and smelled obscenely like body odor.  There is a nightclub downstairs that pounds heavy bass music until 5am and will not allow you to sleep. This place is clearly 420 friendly since I seen people smoking both inside and around the building.

I complained to the front desk that told me that I was staying in a hostel and that I should pay for a hotel if I was dissatisfied. No remorse, no apology, no refund.

I wouldn't stay here even if it were for free!

spring break disaster

When checking in the staff there asks you to sign a "Rule Agreement" which says no food or alcohol  in room.  
When I walked into the room after check in there was rampant food in he room, including an empty beer bottle, and an unopened can of beer.
Concerned about possibly being blamed for other people I complained to staff (manager and someone else at front desk).
They acted like air heads and disregarded my complaint.
Come to find I was unable to make a Reservation at future time because of another "Review" I made about this, which was told to me when I called the Hostel, and the "female Eating Food in her Bed" made a complaint about me to  the staff, which they decided to note!!!
Talk about holding a Grudge and power trips amongst  low workers!

Roaches On Stand By

Arrived here earlier today on time to only wait 45 minutes to check-in after an 8 hour flight. I finally got into the dorm and the room was filthy and dirty. Luggage and dirty underwear on the floor and the entire room smelled like body odor. Went to the front desk to complain and the agent just laughed at me and told me "this is a hostel". I asked if I could check-out and have. refund for the rest of my days remains and I was told rudely "NO REFUNDS" because of policy. Absolute B.S!! If a customer is unhappy and is not getting what they paid for they have the right to get their money back!! Thieves!!

Now it is 4am and I can't even sleep. I found this web-site and decided to tell people NOT TO BOOK THIS HOSTEL! My room is filthy dirty and there is music blasting vulgar rap music vibrating the entire room!
