Had the good sense to book this hotel for the night before my husband's procedure at U of Miami Hospital. While most people in hospitality have pleasant personalities these staff people really went out of their way. Lida the waitress- bartender at the lobby bar extremely efficient while multi-tasking. Front desk has 24/7 coverage. Thomas checked us in, Carlos (a trainee) checked us out. There was an exceptionally pleasant courtyard where people could have drinks or bring their own wine. It was within the property gates. Hallways nicely appointed and beds a very comfortable standard. Breakfast was fine. My only small complaint is that our room had an older toilet which was the old low standard and not the height of what is standard these days even at Depot or Lowes. Very convenient to the medical center and if you want to leave your car at the hotel and take Ubers no problem. Resort fee waived if you are there for a medical treatment and there could be a rate discount. Excellent choice for this area which is not an area with any amenities. If you are with a tour group believe they take you away for the day.
