It was nice, quiet and it was a great team of staff. Everyone I met there was nice and they made sure I was ok. I would tell them thanks if I could.

I missed my flight.The hotel owner came to the airport to pick me up. The property is really nice, extremely clean and an economical choice. It is a great property with a caring owner. I was very ill. The owner made sure I was comfortable, ensuring I was in a room with a wonderful hot shower. My room was also very close to the front office in case I needed assistance. The next morning, he asked about my health. I found this property offered me a wonderful experience, assisting me when I was in distress. The owner went over and above to ensure I had a good experience. And even though I was only there for a few hours, my experience was so excellent that I had to share.

I been there for taking my flight the day after. It is very close the airport and that's enough. People at desk was kind; the room was clean. Hotel is not impressive, of course, but for my stopping and value it was ok.

We booked this based on price and proximity to Graceland but had no idea where it was located before we arrived. We were really pleased that it was relatively quiet even though it was near the airport, was very clean and most important, very comfortable beds! Even though the decor was a little old it was clean, roomy and had everything we needed. No complaints.

i very much enjoyed my stay at this motel. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Check in late, into a smoking room, it was horrible, the room wasn't cleaned,  old food sitting out , no clean towls, and stuff left everywhere,  went back to office, then they apologize and gave me a different room, it was cleaned and better,  no microwave. And the fridge didnt work, tv sucked, no channel list so didn't know what channels there was,  other then walking into the first mess, it was a typical hotel, and I wouldn't stay there again.

Here at Colonial Inn everything has changed very fast.New ownership is making upgrades and better conditions on a daily basis.You should like the new staff, they are helpful polite and friendly.Yes, I admit it was rough when I arrived.This is not the best part of Memphis but it's convenient and centrally located.I came here on day one of the new management. Unpleasant issues were wiped out almost immediately.Even the cleaning crews were changed.I'm a business traveler and have been treated like royalty on my one month stay.I'll gladly return here when traveling through the area again.

The couch and carpet were dirty but the bed and bathroom were clean. The air conditioner is off when you check in so it takes HOURS for the room to cool off. It's $50 a night. It is as expected. I just needed some sleep before I got back on the road.

The motel is older and somewhat dated.  Parts have been upgraded, BUT I got off a plane late and when I laid down on the bed I went straight to sleep and had a wonderful nights rest.  Most motel beds are a bit ordinary, but this one was wonderful.  Turn to get to motel is a bit confusing, but worth the trouble.

Wonderful bed

Excellent Service- Spotless room

Spent the night on my way to New Orleans. I had to make a long distance call which you disappointedly can't make from your room but the manager was nice to let me make my call on his phone. Room was clean and comfortable it must have been recently redone cause it did have a strong new fiber chemical smell. Overall good experience. Rougher neighbourhood but not that bad.

What you see is what you get. If you're looking for something affordable, it's not a bad place to say. Just be careful around the surrounding area. Didn't seem so safe at night. Also, if driving at night, you got to really look for the entrance to get to the motel. I missed it because they have no bright sign that said "enter".

Good for the price

Overall, my stay was good, especially for the price. The room was clean and it was quiet despite the room being near the airport. When I called the front desk to inquire about how to work the shower and the WiFi connection the staff was very polite and helpful. However, this is my second stay at this hotel and I brought my own towels this time because the large towels they have in the room are still very small. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Clean, Comfortable

i enjoyed my stay, got rest, the room was comfortable, only thing i didnt like was you couldn't open the curtains because there were no blinds to help let in light while not allowing nobody to see in but overall i enjoyed my stay and would stay again...i also recommended it to my brother and his wife and they also enjoyed their stay as well....
