Clarion Hotel & Suites Conference Center Memphis Airport

Dear Mr. Percy  During these weeks and or months of social distancing it is easy to become “nostalgic” for times when “travel restrictions” as we know them today, were not even a concept.   During these days I’ve become nostalgic of the excellent service and care I received at The Holiday Inn Memphis Airport - Conf Center.  Without being a previous guest - under my advice, I stayed with a group of friends in your hotel from February 19 to 25.  Our group really wanted to experience the true historic and gastronomic Memphis while also remaining close to Graceland and staying in your hotel actually enhanced our vacation experience. Your front desk person, Miss Gwendolyn, was really kind and knowledgeable advising our group of local attractions such as: where to find the real traditional “soul food”,  musical events and where to get the best fried chicken which, as you know, in Memphis is a competitive market, LOL.  Her recommendations for Kountry Cookin and Gus’s (downtown for a real Memphis experience ) were spot on.  Also, being upgraded to a much nicer room by your Sales Manager, Tamekia, was greatly appreciated by me and my group.   not to be found in all Holiday Inn Hotels.  I have already decided to return to The Holiday Inn Memphis Airport - Conf Center, hopefully late in the month May when travel restrictions will be hopefully lessen and things go back to our “new normal”.   In general our group and I, we had a wonderful time, and I have recommended The Holiday Inn Memphis Airport - Conf Center to  all of our colleagues, friends and family.  I have also written this review in Tripadvisor , Expedia & in HOTELS.COM where Im a GoldMember.  Also I sent a copy of this letter to the Holiday Inn central offices.  People should know when great hospitality is being done.
