The Edelweiss Master suite is really good for families to stay at.  Very big place.  Can sleep 7 minimum (upstairs Master room king size bed, Downstairs bedroom has queen bed,  living room has a fold out bed.  Also a lage couch than can sleep another person.

Very nice, cozy and comfortable. Intimate dwelling and close to all conveniences needed. Adequate pricing. Thank you!

Close to places we wanted to visit and grocery store/restaurants. Very quiet and was comfortable staying with four people.

Everything was very smooth and my experience was amazing!!

Cabin 9. What a great place to get away to. Quiet, comfortable, well maintained and cozy. We had a wonderful week here, we’d go back in a second. A stones throw away from everything, absolutely perfect!!

The stay was good, very clean, the kitchen, the bathroom excellent, very like the cabin and tranquility. We are already planning to return for Christmas and if we had the same cabin it would be great, please let us know if it is available for the week of December 24 to 27, we would greatly appreciate it, thank you for letting us enjoy that beautiful place, Rodrigo Arteaga and Family.

Cute small property. Well maintained and comfortable. Wood for wood stove provided. We were there for a big storm and plowing and shoveling was excellent. Small kitchen with a stove and oven but no baking sheets or dishes. When I inquired about this the answer was that if it's not there it's not available. The point is it should be available.

So cute and charming, has everything you need. Very cozy. Only thing I wish the property had was a jacuzzi and the shower head in Suite 2 needs to be tighter, it kept falling so you have to hold it the whole time you shower .. not a big deal but would’ve been nicer to relax after long cold day of boarding. Suite 2 has one bedroom and a pullout couch which can sleep up to 4, but for a snowboarding trip with all the boards and gear it would feel cramped to have more then 2 people with their luggage. Not a whole lot of storage space so I thought it was perfect for two people. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

I traveled solo to Mammoth so I could spend 4 days doing all-day hikes. This hotel/lodge was perfect for me. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and convenient. Even though I ate most of my meals out, the kitchen was well stock with everything you would need to cook meals. The refer is full sized and so is the stove and microwave. There is a nice BBQ on a large common grassy area. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom/shower was satisfactory. The living room had a flat screen TV, large couch and a very comfortable recliner. The unit has a very efficient gas wall heater as well as a wood stove for winter.  Some people (possibly my wife) might not like it because they might feel it is not modern enough. The Inn was build in 1957 and has been updated. It is kind of like a cabin in the woods. Oh and one more thing and this is important because it shows the management really cares about its customers. There were plenty of supplies like soaps, coffee, tea, paper towels, TP, shampoo, condition and body wash, bathroom towels, etc. I will be back! Thank you, Edelweiss Lodge

A perfect place to stay in Mammoth

We stayed in the Master Suite. The place had plenty of room. It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/dining table. It was very clean. I am very satisfied with my stay here. The only issue I had was figuring out how to check in since there is no front desk. They should include instructions online.

Master Suite Was Great.

We enjoyed our stay at Edelweiss Lodge.  Perfectly located to get around several attractions. The only three issues we had with lodge #3 were: The floor slanted downwards which was awkward she. You entered. Second, the bathtub was very slippery and unsafe. The handrail was a safety measure but would recommend either a rubber Matt or anti slip strips. Third, electrical outlets in one of the bedrooms were broken and taped.  Overall we would return to Edelweiss Lodge should we visit Mammoth Lakes again.

Great place but could use some improvement/repairs

Made reservation online, arrived to an envelope with all instructions. Parking in front of each cabin. Never saw, or had the need to see any staff.Nice cabins in a quiet beautiful wooded residential area. Cabin had a kitchen with all necessities provided. (Pans,dishes,fridge,stove,microwave, salt pepper coffee). The furnishings are what you would expect in a cabin, not new but clean. No a/c only fans. We stayed in cabin 9 which is upstairs....heat rises... So it was nice to have fans to be able to sleep. If you stay in the winter, we noticed there are heaters. Walking/biking paths nearby. Short 5min drive to stores/dining/theatre. We really enjoyed our stay. Already planning a return visit.

This is the prefect spot, will defiantly be going back here. This is the prefect place if you have little ones. Their picnic area was prefect for kids to relax well dad BBQ. (yes they provide a BBQ) very satisficed with my stay here. The best part is that this is only miles away from Mary Lake which all in all beautiful. The drive from the Lodge to the lake has such an amazing veiw.

This is our second time here with our dogs and we love it overall! Close to the lakes and downtown. However we do think the room carpet in cabin two needs to be taken out, the smell of smoke and dog pee is is unbearable! That would be our only complaint! Also not that there’s no office, we knocked on someone’s door so it’s misleading check in sign! Lol. Check in is on the wall outside with envelope so make sure you check that before you knock on a cabin door thinking it’s the office. Other then that, we love this place. Our cabin had everything we wanted. The staff was only a quick call away. We will be coming back again

We needed a room with three beds so the Edelweiss sufficed!.  The room was sparsely furnished with minimal equipment, for instance no chairs to sit on, and no racks for your suitcases.  I think this place was built many years ago, and though clean, it sure hasn't been updated.  And it isn't cheap.  The cable tv service is terrible and the beds are old ticking mattresses on open coil springs which make a racket everytime you turn over.  I wouldn't stay here again for the money, but it would be okay if you like rustic.
