I can't say enough about this place!! As soon as my husband pulled up and entered the office were greeted by the owner Sheila. She was very polite and explained if we needed anything to call anytime and also who the housekeepers were at the rental. Upon going to my room, we ran into both housekeepers and right away they also treated us like family; my husband found that relieving. The room was very clean, spacious, filled with all the cooking and accessories a gal could need. Full fridge, full stove and oven, microwave, very, "very", comfortable beds, and flat screen T. V. For the person that needs space to get business work done, there is a quaint area in the room; plus, a dinner table for 2-3. Laundry is on site along with a swimming pool during the summer months. WOW, now that is saying a lot!!! There are plenty of shops and stores in the area. Sheila & Kent makes this place easy to give an AWESOME review!!

AWESOME: Family, Friends, Comfort, & Clean

Sheila,Kent, Derinda,Kelly, and Donna made this our home away from home. Treated us like family from the minute we arrived. The rooms are clean and well kept. Fully furnished and come with kitchenettes and Kitchens. Very pet friendly with a pet area for our furbabies to run and play. The pool and bbq areas are also a great way to end your day. I would recommend a stay here to all my friends and family.

Best extended stay by far.

I hadn't planned to spend the night in the Augusta area--I was heading further north--but I had been on the road for several hours, it was getting dark, and I was growing tired. On the spur of the moment, I decided to look for a room; I checked with a couple of places, but the prices were higher than I had in mind. When I called Axell's Scandinavian Inn, the owner offered me a very reasonably-priced room at her other property, the Fairway. I had no other information about the Fairway and wondered what I would find when I got there...was I ever pleasantly surprised! I had a spacious, well-furnished room with a nice bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette. I'm very particular about cleanliness, and I can say wholeheartedly that I've never stayed in a cleaner place! All the staff I encountered (the owner at check-in, the man who cleaned the pool area, the housekeeper) were very friendly and helpful, and the grounds and pool were very pleasant and well-maintained. I was fortunate indeed to find this place, and it will be at the top of my list for future stays in the Augusta area!

Sheila & Kent were perfect hosts for this cozy room! The space was clean, quiet, and stocked with the essentials (including doggy treats and toys!). My pups and I had the pleasure of an extended stay and couldn't be happier with our time here. The dog run was especially appreciated for a convenient spot to stretch the pups' legs. The surrounding area is gorgeous and just minutes away from everything. Thanks for a wonderful trip, we hope to return soon!

Comfort and Convenience

Whether your stay because you're vacationing, on business or temporarily displaced, you won't find a better place to stay.Owners Shelia & Kent are the nicest people ever and their staff so kind & friendly. They made my daughter and I feel so welcomed and safe. The rooms are clean and comfy, with a nice kitchenette. It made our situation so much more bearable. So the next time you're looking for a great place to stay while in Maine, look no further than here!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Home Away From Home

The Fairway Overnight and Extended Stay was immaculately clean. The appliances were brand new (or so they looked). The bathroom was spotless.  I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area.

It was good. A little out dated but very clean.the only negative thing I would say the divter needs to be replaced.then the shower would work properly Thank You overall great
