Reasonably priced, a good value.  Staff was helpful.

Clean, quiet, everything worked, just an older motel

Great place to stay at this good price for the motel

Very easy to get to from Rt 1. There was a hornet's nest on the door of our room,  we were moved immediately and saw that it was taken care of first thing in the morning.  The room had everything we needed and we will definitely go back. The owners are very attentive and helpful!

Quiet, clean, king bed was extremely comfortable.

Nice for an independent operation. It was reasonably quiet and reasonably clean. I would visit again.

The Inn is privately owned and well-maintained. The area is quiet and convenient for college visit.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the room and area were quiet.  It was a decent stay.I only rated the room 8/10 due to the condition of the room.  The carpet really needs to be cleaned and the furniture is older/worn which gives the room a run down feeling. There was also a large gap under the door that was open to the outside. That needs to be fixed!

My 2 night stay at the Moonlight Inn was excellent and problem-free. I was welcomed at the office and quickly checked in at an extremely reasonable rate.  My room had a clean, King Size,  comfortable bed, a refrigerator, coffee maker, TV and small table with 2 chairs.  The carpet was stain-free.  The bathroom had a double sink and shower that was strong with plenty of hot water.  I appreciated driving in and parking right in front of my room. I highly recommend staying at the Moonlight Inn when you're in Brunswick, Maine.

A Great Experience at the Moonlight Inn

Stayed here while travelling between Freeport and new brunsiwck. Was easy to get to and park. Check in was simple. Rooms clean and basic. Didn’t hear much noise even being close to a main road. Breakfast was quick and easy as was on the go. Had muffins bagels yogurt with coffee and juice. They also offered a hot breakfast in the  restaurant. Would stay again for a night.

Conveniently situated

We spent 5 nights at the moonlight. Room was clean and comfortable and was serviced every day with fresh towels and beds made. The gentleman that runs the hotel was friendly and helpful when we needed more towels or wanted to extend our stay. 

One note is there is no longer a breakfast as the Tripadvisor entry states. There was a coffee maker in the room and picking up a box of cereal and some milk at the local Hannaford took care of that. The room also had a refrigerator and microwave.

Although the hotel is on busy route 1, it is set back far enough from the road that traffic noise was minimal.

Clean comfortable room

For a very reasonable price, I had a clean and comfortable room that had been updated recently. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was plentiful and well set up. I had a conversation with the owner before I left and was so happy that I had chosen this motel. What a great human being! I have found that how the front desk treats a guest is a reflection of the kind of stay you have, whether for one night or several. In this case, his earnest kindness led the way.

Comfortable room and a wonderful owner

Barely spent any time here as we were headed further north in Maine and just needed a  place to stay for the night.  A modest place (typical roadside motel from the 60's/70's era) but our room (first floor in the building farthest away from the office) was very clean and appeared to have been recently renovated.  The bed was comfortable.  Only issue was a car being started in the parking lot at 5:45 AM which woke us up, but what time a guest leaves is out of the owner's control, so can't blame the owners.  The motel sits right on Rte. 1, but we didn't have any issues with noise from the road.

Very Clean

Ok. Most important: cleanliness. The room we were in was newly renovated and very clean and neat.  AND it was truly non-smoking: I couldn't smell any residue of smoke at all, as sometimes happens. No pets allowed, so  I didn't need to worry about my allergies. So all that was great. The owners quite friendly and receptive. The price we paid was fair for the seasonal nature of our booking in Maine. There were small windows in the room, which meant FRESH AIR, which was GREAT! there is also a powerful AC in the room. 

 Disappointment: The bed was comfortable; the pillows were not--extremely soft. The breakfast: skip it, it's minimalist (at best). It is too far from town to walk to town; you definitely need a car. The pool has long since been abandoned, although we didn't care. Some might, I suppose.

Overall, we'd stay there again, but only with a car, and in the same room we had. If you need basically just a place to sleep, it is really quite fine for the booking. If you're looking to recreate at the hotel itself, look elsewhere.

Check in was great. I came in after 10, and got into my room immediately. Sam was courteous and efficient.

Bed was comfortable, repairs in progress on walls and bathroom.  Location set away from ‘noise’. Towels were ‘thin’ and small.  Overall it was an acceptable place to stay.
