I had a relaxing stay. Even when I locked my keys in my vehicle the guy at the front desk was very helpful.

Been staying here for holidays for over decade and it's the best value around.

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. No outside noise. The office attendants were well mannered, helpful and kind. Nice stay.

It's quiet, fairly cheap, clean,close to a Big Lot a Subway and several burger joints.

I love the cleanliness and old feel of the property. It was quiet even though it was pretty full. Very very nice front desk worker at night and day!

Stayed here one night during the weekend. 
Pros: good hot shower, good location on the main road. Our room (two double beds) was on the first floor facing the road, but it was very quiet. Friendly staff. Easy free parking. 
Cons: beginning price is deceiving. The $63 room ended up being $127 after fees/taxes. Mattress shifted every time I got into or out of bed. Breakfast consisted mainly of a few granola bars, OJ, apple juice, and coffee. If you want a more substantial breakfast, I’d suggest going to one of the many restaurants nearby. 

All-in-all, I would stay here again. The pros outweighed the cons and it’s a good all-around motel.

Good all-around motel

This is the second year we've stayed here, so we knew to expect a no-frillsn budget motel. The location is very convenient for the lake and the supermarket. This time, however, service was lacking. We arrived at 4 p.m. to checked in, and the receptionist and a housekeeper were more interested in gossiping than serving customers. Then when we got to our room it wasn't ready, and rather than apologize and give an estimate of when the room would be ready, the housekeeper was talking on her phone.  I asked the receptionist for another room and was told I'd just have to wait, they were busy. Might try another accommodation when we're in town next year.

Basic room but service was so-so

This was good for the price. I don't expect a large amount of amenities for an inexpensive motel. My room was quiet and comfortable and the staff was nice. They put new light bulbs in very fast after I told them about it. If you want fancy, this is not for you, but for a basic stay it is a good option.

We have stayed at this motel 2 times. It needs updating but it is clean. The big thing lacking is the 'complimentary continental breakfast'. At only 8:30 am, I had to ask the desk clerk if they had anymore pre-packaged mini muffins/Danish. He brought out several and they were frozen. No decaf coffee either. The price was right for the room we needed-just to sleep.

Bed was truly comfortable and because of the extended tv channel offerings, we were able to watch our home team in a key game.   The room was basic but at an affordable price.  We needed a one night spot to sleep in comfort and get back on the road the next day and this was great for that.  Went in with low expectations based on appearance, but had a great nights sleep at an affordable price. Special thank you to the manager who put us in one of the hand of really quiet inside rooms.

Basic but Perfect for enroute travelers

Clean and comfortable if a bit depressing. Rooms recently renovated but lack even the slightest bit of decorating. Lighting is adequate but bizarrely arranged and anything but warm. But if you're looking for a cheap, clean and comfortable overnighter on the road, this place is perfectly adequate.

Convenient budget hotel on highway to Smoky Mt area. Pleasant staff, good bed, clean. No real breakfast, just granola bars and mediocre coffee.

Good location. Good hot shower. Friendly staff. Breakfast only consisted of a few granola bars. Apple juice, OJ, and coffee in the office. Would stay here again.

Our food was hot and yummy, the only thing missing was our ketchup. It would be nice to have a menu before you place your order. I had a chicken pita, and my husband had a two-hotdog meal. This was our second visit.
