I was impressed with the politeness and professionalism of the staff. The check-in was easy, and everyone was so friendly. Loved the morning breakfast. Chances are we'll be coming back this way again and I will be sure to make a reservation for a longer stay.

Overnight stay on way to Mammoth Cave.  Great value.

Nice hotel with nice staff. Room was a bit small making it difficult for 2 people to navigate. Shower only. Cannot comment on breakfast as we left before it was served.

Had a great stay. Just an overnighter. Room was cozy but had everything that was needed. The bathroom had only a shower which for me was a plus because who tskes a bath.

The stay was great, hotel was very quiet which is always helpful. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. The hotel was a little tucked away from the main street which also helped with a good night's rest.

The room was clean and comfortable. Has a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is a little older but seems to be well maintained. The staff were friendly though not pushy.  The only complaint is that it was listed as with breakfast, and that’s an exaggeration. We were there for 2 nights.  First morning there was some muffins, coffee, some juice, some yogurt in a little fridge.  Very spartan. 2nd day, a Sunday, only coffee. Inquired at desk and was told someone walked out from work the night shift, but there was staff there in the morning that could have put something out, but for whatever reason chose not to.  If breakfast is limited, listing should state that, and if none provided should be communicated.

My family stayed at Hatfield Inn on our way to Mammoth Cave.  Our room was great for a large family (6 of us!).  It was open with room to maneuver, which is a huge deal for a family of 6.  The breakfast was descent and pretty basic, but good.  We only stayed one night, but, if we are ever in the area, we would stay again.

The hotel itself was nice and comfortable. I would however suggest that the mowing be kept up a little better. I traveled with a little dog and it was kind of weedy and the grass was long and wet, which meant I was always wiping his paws after he went potty so he was not bringing dirt/ticks/wetness or something into your hotel. I don’t bring it into my home and would not bring it into a hotel either. Plus it would give the hotel more curb appeal. The flower beds are very nicely landscaped.

Everything was really nice and clean. The only things I did not like was the beds were so high it was almost impossible for an older, short person (like myself) to get in. And the breakfast buffet that was advertised was scaled back to a sweet roll taken to your room because of Covid restrictions. So we didn't even stay for breakfast.

Nice little place, it's small only two floors. People were kind, place was clean. everything worked. We have no complaints. Would we stay again, yes.

Best hotel stay in a while!

The bed was very comfortable! We had a room that faced the parking lot and a security light.  We ended up putting a blanket on the window to keep the light from shining!

We had a very nice stay. We were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and comfy. My only recommendation is to add a protein source for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were delicious but no protein at all. They also had cereal, muffins, bagels, and danishes. We will definitely stay again.
