The bed was very nice quality and very comfortable--which is huge for me. I had asked ahead of time for extra pillows, and there were 4 extra waiting on the bed for me. I was already aware that there is no elevator or a/c. We didn't account for the altitude difference from Pueblo and climbing those stairs to the 3rd floor. Got us the first time, but good after that. Since it was mid June, I did NOT expect the room to be that hot without a/c, but it was very uncomfortable. Thank goodness for the small fan left in the room. The afternoon sun pouring into the room is what made it so hot. We closed up the curtains the next day and that helped. I had fun exploring this historic hotel, and staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
