We stayed one night with our dog. Very cozy, and clean. Manager made check in easy and quick. Would stay again.

Great little place, staff was kind and helpful, hope to stay there again!

Our little cabin/room was cute. Older and not fancy but it had charm and it was clean. Mostly quiet (there is a morning train). A place to eat in walking distance. Easy access to I-5. Great for trips.

Overall the room was good. Pros: It a nice small kitchen along with some utensils. Air conditioning was proper & Bathroom was clean too. Cons: Location of this hotel is little bit secluded and there are no other houses or hotels nearby. Make sure you get to the hotel before dark.

Nice one night economically reasonable stop. The room was old motel style, but very clean and well taken care of. AC worked, remote was a plus. Not a place to impress your date, but a fine place to lay your head - peaceful.

The gentleman that helped us was beyond helpful and understanding. We were having trouble with our payment and he was extremely patient.

The owner's are very friendly. The room is very clean. Happy with my stay there.

Great location- sandwiched between Mt Shasta and Shasta Lake. It is right off the interstate- and easy to find- but it’s not quiet- ear plugs were helpful. The room had air conditioning- which was fabulous after 90  degree days, mini fridge, microwave (hard to find in rooms) and a working coffee machine. The accommodations- while a little dated, were clean and tidy. Parking was very convenient and close to the room. They had a little front porch. Staff was very friendly and let us check in a few hours early (thank you!). We were able to take a little morning walk around. There is a diner down the street from the lodge.

Staff were courteous and welcoming.  If you are looking for a luxury hotel at a low cost, keep looking. This is an older budget motel with clean relatively comfortable beds, easy access to I-5, nothing more, nothing less. I’ve seen reviews complaining about the road noise after choosing a property right next to the freeway. I find that odd. It wasn’t that bad, but it not quiet. I knew what I was getting, it was fine, for what it was; low cost, clean and a place to sleep. I’ve paid more for worse.

A great place to stop on a road trip. Note that check in is 3-10pm but they were able to accommodate my late arrival. The family was friendly, the room was clean and a great price. I was in room #2 so I could hear the noise from Highway 5 but this might not be a problem for the rooms deeper into the problem.

We had a great time during our 7 day stay while we boated Lake Shasta! The owners and manager of the lodge were very attentive and helpful. The boat parking area was safe and secure. The rooms could use some updating and the area behind our side of the hotel could use some tidying, but none of those things kept us from having a great time and enjoying our stay!

This is a nice place, decently clean, in the room, corners need a lot of scrubbing, bed is smaller, double, so if tall or "bigger couples" may need something different. The only down side I could see, traffic noise from interstate, all night. Noise from other rooms, and the floors needed a good scrubbing in corners. Long black hairs on floor, I'm blond. Other than that, this is a nice place and worth staying at.

I was very impressed with Shah’s hospitality. The whole experience made for a very fun and cozy adventure! The room had a great heater, the beds were not uncomfortable, and the shower just took a few minutes to warm up (I was a little worried that maybe there wasn’t warm water at first haha). I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful area and a great place to stay!

This is a charming, homey little hotel!  No pretense, nicely maintained, but with a yesteryear feel.  Pet friendly, and very accomodating!  The owners are very kind!  The prices are, for the area, fantastic!  This is not the place for snobs.  But, for a comfortable, convenient, quiet, friendly place to stay, in an amazing part of the world, I cannot think of anything this sweet little hotel lacks!  Highly recommend!

Charming, friendly and affordable!

Very kind and welcoming little Lodge easeful friendly verbal interaction with all staff and Ed.My Beloved and I had to extend one extra day due to sickness, Ed took that information with lots of ease and we felt very taken care off.The lodge is located right next to the freeway but with the air conditioning on, the sound of cars was barely noticeable. Ask about the showers inside the room ours was definitely built for smaller frame people which was perfect for my Beloved and I, however I can imagine them being a challenge for people with a bigger frame then ours.All in all we had a very lovely experience, very clean and caring. Lake Shasta Lodge was a competitively priced, no-fuss, tidy place to stay that was conveniently located by many trailheads and picnic spots. The property felt really clean and safe, which is always important to me. The room was spacious and minimal, which was perfect for the price point. The fridge and microwave in the room were both clean and worked well. The owner was friendly, made sure to check in with me prior to my arrival which I appreciated, and very helpful. The location was also really easy for getting on and off the highway. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet motel.  It is close to the freeway so you do get a little road noise. Ran by a family.  It was cute to see the kids taking out the trash.  Nice little grassy area.  There was even a kitchenette!This motel is older probably from the 1950s so dont expect new and modern.  It was well maintained for a motel of that age.  Just our speed!Parking is a little tight.  We would stay there again.
