Budget Inn

I had an Emergency and required a hotel quite unexpectedly. I went across the street to Travel Inn but there weren't any single rooms available. This was a pretty rough neighborhood but then I saw the sign advertising "Budget Inn". I work for Wyndham Hotels but had heard of Budget Inn. I figured how bad could it be? Turns out the man and woman who accomodated me were extremely pleasant. The only issue I wasn't too pleased about was my room was the one IMMEDIATELY adjacent to Dixie Highway. I inquired if I did decide to spend another night, would they have any other rooms available - away from the roar of the traffic. They stated they could switch me in the morning. Turns out the noise wasn't as bad as I expected.. Yes, I WAS surprised at how small the room and bathroom was but after spending over $1000 at Motel 6, it certainly was nice that Budget Inn contains BOTH a small refrigerator AND microwave in EACH room. Motel 6 has only ONE Microwave for the ENTIRE Motel! (No refrigerators.) I was too exhausted to even turn on the television set at Budget Inn, but the WiFi was PERFECT. And this hotel does NOT Charge extra for WiFi. As far as the complaint above regarding the NOISE of the air conditioner? Well, in all of my stays at over 40 Hotels/Motels, this Air Conditioner HAD to be the BEST! Yes, a tad bit "noisy" but at least it was BIG, definitely blew COLD Air, and the Thermostat worked perfectly. And as far as the other complaint about "No Shampoos, etc."? Most of the smaller hotels around here in South Florida do NOT provide anything but Soap. The towels were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the 2 Employees (man/wife?) were extremely professional.
